 In this modern time, mostly everything is all about technology. Online classes,
online jobs, online business and even entertainment is online. But it doesn’t mean
that it should stop anyone from doing what they most importantly need to do. The
researchers conduct an interview to college students and few adult who have that
uses technology especially smart phones, and they found out that almost every single
one of them is distracted by them while others also said that using it is unavoidable.
One student say that “I just can’t help it. The moment I open my phone, all this
notifications popping are making me curious.”
 On the other hand, the researchers also asked this time regular adults with jobs
whether they feel like having a high tech smartphone is important. The results came
out that half of them feels the need to have one while also half didn’t think it is
essential. One adult claimed that he just uses it for communication, his co workers,
family and friends.

With this in hand, The researchers thought of a product that can help people buy a
communication device which is much cheaper and lighter than a regular smartphone
but can still connect them to anyone wherever. This device can make calls, text,
provide you a map and a location for you to send to someone, and that’s it. It has no
other apps excluding a communicating app like messenger and whatsapp. At first
glance, this product may look like a downgrade which is opposite of innovation but
for us researchers, we find this as a gem because all other companies are trying to
upgrade certain products, which only increases it’s price. While us, we think that
maximizing the certain purpose of a device is the way. With this solution, people will
not be pressured to buy an expensive smartphone that they will only use in
communication. Moreover, student customers can use this device if they feel the
need that they should stop playing around and surfing their smartphones.

Overall, our product can help people overcome their technology

addiction/obsession while still communicating, and they can proceed to do their daily
lives.
