Question 1. What are your Struggles and Challenges towards the use of Virgen

1.1 What are the struggles and/or challenges to your awareness of using Virgen

Milagrosa University Foundation Open Resources?

(Ano ang mga hadlang at/o hamon sa iyong kamalayan sa paggamit ng Virgen

Milagrosa University Foundation Open Resources?)

Jane Austen: To put it concretely, I am not really familiar about the open online

resources even its availability po. (To put it concretely, I am not really familiar with

the open online resources even its availability.)

Emily Dickenson: Wala po akong gaanong alam sa VMUF open resources. (I don't

know much about VMUF open resources.)

Virginia Woolf: I think lack of awareness talaga kasi sa totoo lang hindi ko talaga

alam kung paano gamitin yung VMUF open resources. (I think it is a lack of

awareness because I have no idea how to use the VMUF Open Resources.)

Harper Lee: Hindi po ako masyadong aware sa open resources ng VMUF. (I am not

too aware of VMUF Open Resources.)

Toni Morrison: Hindi po kasi maalam tungkol diyan at hindi rin ako sure kung tama

yung resources na makukuha or lalabas. (I lack of information about that and I'm not

sure if the resources are right.)

Maya Angelou: Aware ako na mayroong VMUF open resources pero siguro kulang

pa po ako ng information kung paano siya talaga gamitin at yun ang humahadlang

talaga sa akin. (I'm aware that we have the VMUF open resources but I'm probably

lacking information on how to really use it and that's what really prevents me.)

JK Rowling: For me sir, I am aware that we have open resources the hindrance is I

don’t know much about it or I lack information.

William Henley: Hindi po ako masyadong maalam tungkol diyan po. (I don't know

much about that.)

Alice Walker: Hindi masyadong aware sa paggamit nito. (Not too aware of using it.)

Angela Carter: My knowledge about it is not enough.

Jane Austen: First, is the avalability hindi ganoon ka open sakin as a student also

even though helpful siya at some point pero yung mga info na nakalagay doon is

hindi siya complete. (First, the availability is not that open to me as a student also

even though helpful at the same point. But the information contained here is not

complete.)

Emily Dickenson: Nagagamit naman ito ngunit hindi sapat ang information na

nakukuha dito. Minsan walang nakalagay na information sa paghahanap ko ng mga

info tungkol sa isang literary piece. (I also use it but the information I get from it is

not enough. When I search for a literary piece sometimes there is no information.)

Virginia Woolf: Kasi one-time kapag ginagamit ko yung VMUF open resources

kadalasan kasi hindi ko mahanap yung information na gusto kung hanapin or andun

yung information kaso lang kulang yung information at yun yung problema na nakita

ko. (Because one time when I use VMUF Open Resources I usually cannot find the

information I want to find. There is information but inadequate and that is the

problem I saw.)

Harper Lee: Minsan kapag ginagamit ko ito, hindi ko mahanap yung information na

hinahanap ko at minsan kulang yung information. (Sometimes when I use it, I can't

find the information I am looking for and sometimes it lacks of information.)

Toni Morrison: Kapag ginagamit ko ito, hindi ko mahanap yung ibang information

or kulang yung information na nakakalap ko. (When I use it, I cannot find other

information or lack of information appears.)

Maya Angelou: Natry ko na rin pong gamitin sa isang major subject, hindi ko alam

kung mali yung paggamit ko or hindi ko lang talaga alam gamitin or talagang kulang

yung information, yun yung nakikita kung hadlang sa paggamit ko ng open resources.

(I also try to use it in a major subject. I don't know if I use it in a wrong way or

maybe it provides not much information and that's what I see wrong when we use

Open Resources.)

JK Rowling: Kapag ginagamit ko siya, I can’t find the other information and I also

lack with the other information I gathered po. (When I'm using it, I can't find the

other information and I also lack the other information I gathered.)

William Henley: Hindi ko po mahanap yung mga information na kailangan ko. (I

can't find the information I need.)

Alice Walker: Sources are not informative enough na kailangan mo pang maghanap

ng ibang resources. (Sources are not informative enough, you need to find other

resources.)

Angela Carter: Ever since the problem is still the same. Lack of information and

knowledge of the overall use of this website.

Jane Austen: When it comes to accessing, hindi kami aware at familiar sa mga links

and websites. (When it comes to access, we are not aware and familiar with these

links and websites.)

Emily Dickenson: May mga oras na gusto ko itong gamitin pero hindi ko mahanap

ang website or link nito. (There are times I want to use it but I can't find a link or

website.)

Virginia Woolf: I think yung link, hindi ko masyadong alam yung link or diko

memorize. (I think the link is either unclear or difficult to remember.)

Harper Lee: Sa link, kung saan ba makukuha o makikita ito. (The link, at how to

find or get it.)

Toni Morrison: Hindi ko alam yung link or website, hindi ko kabisado at hindi

talaga ako familiar sa mga websites. (I don't know the link or the website; I don't

know and I'm not really familiar with the websites.)

Maya Angelou: Sa totoo lang sir nung orientation binibigay naman po yung link,

kaso hindi ko na rin po alam kaya diko na rin siya nababalikan at naaacess ulit. (In

fact, Sir, at the orientation, the link was provided. However, I can’t remember it

that’s why I didn’t go back and access it again.)

JK Rowling: To be honest po, I don’t know where I can find the link or website to

1.4 How does your Utilization of Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Open

Resources affect your literature learning?

(Paano naaapektuhan ng paggamit ng Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Open

Resources ang pag-aaral mo ng literatura?)

Jane Austen: Naaapektuhan niya yung pag-aaral ko kasi it is helpful para sakin as a

student kahit hindi kumpleto at helpful yung mga information na iba helpful naman

siya. (It is helpful for me as a student even if the information is not complete and

helpful but for others it is helpful.)

Emily Dickenson: Mainam po ito sa aking pananaliksik dahil tiyak at wasto ang mga

impormation na aking nakukuha dahil bilang studyante dapat na tama at wasto ang

aking nakukuhang impormasyon sa pagsulat ng aking mga essays at activities. (It

helps me to search for certain and accurate information. As a student, the

information we obtain must be correct especially in writing essays and activities.)

Virginia Woolf: Sa tingin ko sa paggamit ko ng vmuf open resources mas

naapadaling aralin at intindihin ang literature. Kapag ginagamit ko yung open

resources nadadagdagan yung info in literature dahil doon mas napapadali at

naiintindihan ko yung literature na yun kapag ginagamit ko ang open resources ng

VMUF. (In my opinion, using the VMUF open resources makes it easier to

understand the lesson especially when it comes to literature.)

Harper Lee: Mas napapabuti ang pagaaral ko kapag may hinahanap akong

information mas napapadali ang pagaaral at paghahanap ko ng literature ng dahil dito.

(When I am looking for information, it makes it easier for me to study and find

literature because of it.)

Toni Morrison: Mas napapabuti ang pagaaral ko ng literature kapag may nahahanap

akong karagdagang information. Mas napapadali ang pagintindi ko ng literature pag

ginagamit ko ito. (My literature study gets better when I find more information. It

makes it easier for me to understand the literature when I use it.)

Maya Angelou: Nagagamit ko naman din po siya, hindi po lahat ng information

andun pero at the same time meron naman din po akong nakukuha doon so mas

napapadali po sakin yung pagkuha ng literature. Hindi lang sa Philippine literature

kundi pati narin sa world literature so napapadali ang pagintindi ko sa paggamit ng

open resources. (I also use it but not all the information was there, but at the same

time, I also got something. So, it is easier for me to get information about literature

not only in the Philippine literature but also in world literature so it makes my

understanding easier by using open resources.)

JK Rowling: I improved my study of literature when I find more knowledge or it

increases my understanding of literature when I used it.

William Henley: Mas napapabuti ko yung study habits ko or yung pag-aaral ko ng

literature kapag nakakahanap ako ng mga idadagdag or additional information about

my homework. (I can improve my study habits especially in Literature when I find

additional information about my homework.)

Alice Walker: Mas napapabuti ang pagaaral ng literature at very essential siya dahil

panatag ka na reliable yung resources at panatag ka hindi gaya sa internet na

kailangan mo pa I make sure na tama at reliable yung resources. (Learning gets better

when learning literature. It is very essential because you are very sure that the

resources are reliable, unlike the Internet you need to make sure the resources are

correct and reliable.)

Angela Carter: It is useful but not all of the information is provided and given by

these open resources so we must consider another website in searching for answers or

information in finding literary works.

Question 2. What are your Coping Mechanisms regarding the Struggles and

Challengers towards the Use of Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation Open

Resources?

Jane Austen: When it comes to other information pero pag kulang yung information

naghahanap po ako ng person or thing na tutulungan sakin na maghanap ng other

information. (When the information is incomplete, I am looking for a person or thing

that will help me find other information.)

Emily Dickenson: Sa ibang website nalang ako naghahanap at nanunuod ako ng mga

video lesson sa YouTube. (I am looking for another website and watching video

lessons on YouTube.)

Virginia Woolf: Kapag kasi diko mahanap yung information sa open resources

naghahanap ako sa ibang platform which is sa youtube doon ako nanunuod ng mga

videos sa youtube. (When I cannot find the information on open resources, I look for

another platform which is on YouTube. I watch videos there.)

Harper Lee: Mas nagiging flexible ako sa paghanap ng information kapag di ko

nakikita yung information doon sa open resources ay naghahanap ako ng ibang

pagkukunan, nanunuod sa youtube or naghahanap sa google. (I become more flexible

in finding information when I cannot find the information in open resources. I am

looking for other sources like watching YouTube or looking on Google.)

Toni Morrison: Kapag hindi ko siya mahanap sa vmuf open resources naghahanap

ako ng information sa internet or humihiram ako ng libro sa mga kakilala ko at

nanunuod din ako ng videos sa youtube. (When I can't find VMUF open resources, I

look for information on the Internet or I borrow a book from my acquaintances and I

also watch videos on YouTube.)

Maya Angelou: Sa totoo lang po, ngayon more on google. Naghahanap po talaga ako

ng information sa internet. Minsan naghahanap din po ako ng books na pwede kung

maging resources sa paghahanap ng literature. (Actually, now more on Google, I am

really looking for information on the Internet and sometimes I am also looking for

books that can be used as resources for finding literature.)

JK Rowling: When I can’t find the VMUF open resources I look for other

information on the internet or I borrow a book from a friend or watch YouTube.

William Henley: Kapag po kasi hindi ko nahahanap doon sa open resources

naghahanap nalang po talaga ako ng information na pwedeng mahanap sa internet.

(When I can't find the information in open resources, I try to find it on the internet.)

Alice Walker: Kapag nakalimutan ko yung link at hindi ako mahanap na information

or minsan nagaask nalang ako sa librarian namin kung mayb related ba na book na

avaialable sa library. (When I forget the link and I can't find information or

sometimes I just ask our librarian if there is a related book available in the library.)

Angela Carter: We must not focus on one source of information especially in

literature because we must widen our resources in order for us to understand it more

clearly.

Question 3. What are the Lessons you have Learned towards the Use of Virgen

Jane Austen: Parang strategies na rin po, all of the strategies that I learned is

diligence to look for other resources kapag hindi available yung information sa online

or other website. (Like strategies as well, all of that is strategies that I learned

diligence to look for other resources when the information is not available online or

on another website.)

Emily Dickenson: Hindi maiiwasan na kulang ang info. na nakukuha natin ang

mahalaga ay natututo akong maghanap ng mga reliable sites na maaring magamit sa

susunod na pananaliksik higit na sa literature at nadadagdagan rin aking kaalaman.

(We can’t avoid getting a lack of information. The important thing is I learn to find

reliable sites that can be used in literature and it increases my knowledge.)

Virginia Woolf: Yung pinaka natutunan mas naging resourceful ako kasi kapag hindi

ko nahanap yung information na gusto ko is nagahahanap talaga ako ng ibang way na

kung saan mas nakakakuha pa akong ng mga karagdagang information na mas

nakakatulong sakin sa pagaaral ko ng literature. (What I have learned is that I have

become more resourceful because when I can’t find the information I want, I am

really looking for another way in which I can get more information that will help me

more in understanding literature.)

Harper Lee: Kapag sa open resources, kapag may di ako mahanap ng information,

naghahanap ako ng ibang paraan para makahanap ng ibang information at kapag may

ibang information akong nahahanap nakakatulong ito sa paghahanap ko ng literature.

(Using open resources, when I can’t find some information, I look for another way to

find other information and it helps me find literature.)

Toni Morrison: Mas nagiging resourceful ako or kapag hindi ko mahanap, hahanap

ako ng ibang link para makatulong sakin na pagaralan yung literature or mas natutuo

ako kapag may karagdagang information akong nakukuha kapag may bagong

information. (I become more resourceful or when I can't find it, I will find another

link that will help me study the literature. I learn more when I get more information.)

Maya Angelou: Hindi lang ng information doon po nakukuha so natututo po ako

para mag-dig deeper po ako sa mga pwede kung pagkuhanan ng information lalo sa

literature at mas natututo ako kapag may karagdagan information akong nakukuha

lalo sa literature. (I am learning to go deeper in what I can do when getting

information especially in literature, and I learner more when I get additional

information about literature.)

JK Rowling: I’ve learned that I became more resourceful and whenever I find

nothing, I will find another way a person or thing to ask for my study of literature

increased so that I will learn more about it.

William Henley: Mas natututo kasi ako kapag may additional information akong

nakukuha patungkol sa mga literature or any topic. (I learn more when I get

additional information regarding literature or any topic.)

Alice Walker: Natutunan kung maging resourceful kasi kapag wala kang mahanap

madami ka namang pwedeng gawin para maghanap ng information. (Learn to be

resourceful because when you can't find anything there's a lot of ways to find

information.)

Angela Carter: Being resourceful and flexible. We must widen and manage to look

for more information for us to come up with a concrete information and reliable

sources. Being a student, we must have a keen eye in looking for an information we

need for deeper understanding.
