LabSheet 4 - Audio Amplifier - Group - 8

This document contains a lab sheet for a practical work assessment on an audio amplifier circuit. It lists the objectives of the assessment, which are to evaluate students' practical skills in assembling and testing the circuit, as well as their ability to analyze the results in a lab report. The lab sheet provides space to record measurements of the voltages VB, VC and VE at various nodes in the circuit, both for the normal operation and with individual components removed. It also asks students to calculate the theoretical voltage values and identify the type of transistor used.

VB = VCC [ R2 / R1 + R2 ]

= 12V [ 10k / 47k + 10k ]

= 2.11V

VE = VB - VBE

= 2.11V - 0.7V

= 1.41V

Ic = IE = [ VE / RE ]

= 1.41 / 560

= 2.52mA

VC = VCC - IcRc

= 12 - (2.52mA) (2.2k)

= 6.46v

Calculation 2.11V 6.46V 1.41V

Normal Measure 2.04V 6.61V 1.38V

Open R1 5.11nV 12V 7.74nV

Open R2 3.21V 2.54V 2.51V

Open R3 0.75V 88mV 92.02mV

Open R4 2.11V 12V 1.81V

Open C1 & C2 2.04V 6.61V 1.38V

The value of VB went R1 opened is 5.11nV and this is because cut out

The type of transistor used is NPN transistor.

In this practical work, the value voltage is different because value resistor is different.
For the example, When we open the r1 the value vb is different from normal circuit

4
In the conclusion, we are know how to measure the value of vb, vc and ve from circuit
and we know how to calculate the value of vb, vc and ve using theory formula
