Answer:I think that kabit-kabit sells in the media because it is extremely
entertaining to viewers, to which some people can relate, and to which they
have observed in society.

Answer:I believe it sells because violent images in the media are commonly
dramatic and realistic. Furthermore, violence sells in the entertainment
industry because violence is commonly represented in kabit-kabit films,
knowing that people are attracted to violent depictions.

1. The article is quite humorous, informational, and also immoral because it


stated about how it reflects to reality and how people reacting to it when it
comes to kabit-kabit thing.
2. I think that kabit-kabit sells in media because it is way entertaining to the
viewers which some people can relate to and it is also what they observed in
the society. An example to this is aPhilippine television dramarevengeseries
broadcast by GMA Network. Rome and Emma have problems and when
issues arise, their marriage starts to be in jeopardy. Rome eventually meets
Georgia, who will become his mistress. Which are the main characters in the
series.
3. I think that it sells because the violent images in the mass media can often
vivid and can be quiterealistic. Moreover, when it comes to entertainment,
violence sells. Because not just in kabit-kabit but also in horror films often
include violence, that individuals are attracted to this content can help us
understand why they are drawn to violent depictions.
4. I think that it remains in the viewers memory, the characters and the scenes
that catches their attention. Also, the attitudes of those actresses/actor which
made them feel their emotions into the scene.
5. I think sex and violence should stay in Philippine media because the
popularity of sex and violence tell of the kind of people in the Philippines the
reality of some people lives and their different perspective in life. It may be
causes aggressive or anti-social behavior and promote aggressive behavior to
children. So, the media must set regulations to limit the amount of sex
andviolence in TV shows for the sake of young viewersthrough parental
guidance for them. Aside of it is a way of entertaining the viewers which some
people can relate to and it is also what they observed in today’s society.

The positive effects of sex and violence in media is to point out that the media
informs teenagers about adult violent world. Through this kind of TV show
individuals are attracted to this content. It builds up a growing body of
knowledge about the process of television production. Teenagers also learn to
distinguish real violence in news and documentaries from the fictional sex and
violence shows. Experiencing such emotions in a fictional content can enable
children to conquer the fear and grief they experience in real life.It enlightens
and can help us understand why they are drawn to violent depictions. It
contributes in shaping of one’s idea of sex and violence. Somehow these kind
of TV shows may base to true to life stories wherein it really makes a huge
impact to the viewers. Parents or guardians play a huge role to this that they
should not allow their children spend too long with virtual violence.
