We use superlative adjectives to talk about

the highest degree of a quality.


We use superlative adjectives when talking about three or more things, not two!

anna is the smartest girl in the class!


In the example below, "cheapest" is the superlative form of the adjective "cheap"

the brown jersey is the cheapest.


Superlatives are formed in two ways:

Long adjectives Short adjectives
