REFLECTION

Technology has changed the student / teacher roles and relationships : students are now
responsible for their own learning outcomes , while instructors have become guides and facilitators .
Usage of digital in getting to be a differing instrument helps in different process . An enormous amount
of information proposes that coordination technology into the classroom progresses understudy success
and academic execution . I feel that technology has a good influence on education . And I 'm certainly
sure that I 'll be able to use it as an excellent and effective teaching tool . As a future educator , I plan to
use social media , apps , and other online communities to engage parents , collaborate with peers , and
provide educational content . I have to consider that as a teacher , I need to become good media literate
. Media literacy is an important concern in which all educators should be involved . According to
Common Sense Media , Media literacy is the capacity to recognize different forms of media and
comprehend the information they deliver . The capacity to access , analyze , evaluate , and produce
media in a variety of formats is a more thorough definition of media literacy . Regardless of the
definition you choose , it is something you should be teaching in your school . Therefore , teaching
media literacy has several advantages for many students . Knowing how to make informed decisions ,
distinguishing between fake and real news , understanding viewpoint and the purpose " behind " the
message , and learning how to create media ethically are just a few of the advantages . As a teacher also
, I also need to provide examples of reliable and unreliable information , describe what makes an
internet affiliated organizations , and introduce additional 21st - century abilities .
