ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT


END OF SCHOOL YEAR RITES FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022

I. Activity Title:
5th Graduation and 7th Completion Ceremony
II. Venue:
Sogod National High School Grounds
Sogod, Bacacay, Albay
III. Objectives
Generally, the activities are grounded on acknowledging the hard work of students in
coping with the distance learning modality.

Specifically, it aims to:


1. To give recognition to exemplar learners during the school year 2021-2022
2. To highlight that amid all the challenges the learners’ rights to quality education is
still given the priority.

V. Activity Description
On June 30, 2022, Sogod National High School conducted its 5 th Graduation and 7th
Completion Ceremony at the Sogod National High School Grounds, Sogod, Bacacay, Albay.
The Activity started at 2:00 in the afternoon with all our School Head, Ma’am Diana P. Benasa,
our guest speaker, SN1 Antonette B. Trinidad PN, our honored guests, the Schools Division
Office of Albay Representative Ma’am Marichu V. Portades, the Public School District
Supervisor for Bacacay East Ma’am Arlene N. Cabais, represented by Ma’am Judith A. Bellen,
with all the faculty and staff, the students with their parents. As the program progressed, arrival
and attendance of parents increased.
The program started with a prayer led by Regina Cielo Marie A. Bellen, followed by the
singing of the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Mr. Jay-R B. Bellen and the Albay
Hymn conducted by Mrs. Marilou B. Lofamia. Julie B. Bercasio, a completer with honors,
delivered her words of welcome emphasizing how they surpass the difficult challenges they
encountered during the pandemic. The message of the Department of Education Secretary
Ma’am Leonor Magtolis Briones was delivered by Ma’am Marichu, highlighting that education is
a shared responsibility where she thanks all the parents and teacher in guiding the students
even during the pandemic. Also, the message from the Assistant Schools District Supervisor,
Ma’am Ma. Jeany T. Abayon was delivered by Ma’am Judith.
After the messages, our school head, Ma’am Diana P. Benasa, presented the
candidates for graduation and completion. Then the District Representative Certified the
Graduates and the completers and lastly, the DO representative confirmed the graduates and
completers. For the awarding of awards and certificates, the school head is accompanied by the
guest speaker, honored guests, and assisted by the adviser in giving the awards. There
students were accompanied by their parents as they proudly give the medals to their children as
fruits of all their hard work and perseverance.
Cristian B. Catalan, a graduating student with honor, gave his thanksgiving message to
the crowd, acknowledging the hard work and sacrifices of his parents and also his teachers from
grade 7 to grade 12. After the thanksgiving message, our school head introduced the guest
speaker, a alumna of this institution, now a member of Philippine Navy, SN1 Antonette B.
Trinidad PN. The guest speaker gave her speech where she shared how she was able to
surpass the hurdles while growing up in a family with no stable income, including the hardships
she experienced while applying and training in the Philippine Navy.
Afterwards, Diana Mae D. Betiz, Led the pledge of Loyalty of the Grade 12 students. The
Grade 12 students sang their graduation song “We Won the Fight” as they were able to win
against COVID-19. As a form of thanksgiving, the Grade 12 and Grade 10 students performed a
song for their parents entitled “MAPA” by SB19.
Lastly, the chairman for the end of school year rites gave her closing remarks by
acknowledging the camaraderie shown by the teachers and also the student teachers in making
the ceremony a success.
The ceremony was noted as successful as all objectives was achieved despite of few
shortcomings.

VI. Results
Achievement of Objectives
 The students’ achievement for the academic year 202-2022 was given
proper recognition
 It was also highlighted that despite the challenges brought by the
pandemic, education is still a priority.

VII. Participants’ Feedback
Based on the feedback given by the participants, over all the event was a success.

VIII. Recommendation
Prepare the pictures of the Graduates and Completers ahead of time so that draft of the
program and invitation is prepared ahead of time. Prepare the music to be used prior to the start
of the program.
