SEARCH
If you are looking for equipment information, or to ask a question about equipment, you can choose
“Search for Equipment” on the left.

From the equipment page, you can find items that interest you. Each equipment page will show what
manuals we have on file, any questions asked, news we have posted about the equipment, videos, a
parts list, and information
about the product.
You can also submit a
request for a quote on this
page, add the item to your
bench, or begin a forum
question.

BUY NOW
“Shop” Icon on the homepage will bring you to our Buy Now page, where you can search to see if we
are currently filtering in any equipment or parts that you want to purchase. You can also request that
we find you a quote on items we do not have listed for sale.

ASK
“Ask a Question” is where you can easily begin a forum question.

From the top of the page, you can search for equipment by either “manufacturer” or by “category”.
This is useful if you want to see an item’s information, manuals, previous questions, and more.

You can reach our forums and begin a question, or browse through recent forum questions from the
forum tab at the top of the page.

From the forum page, all you have to do to begin a question is fill out the form provided. Make sure to
add in as much information as possible, so other MedWrench users will be able to help you. It is not
5
common that someone is able to provide a manual, so please make sure you aren’t asking just for a
manual.

We also ask that you please do not ask for any equipment passwords, or software through our
forums. Also, do not offer to sell any products, ask where you can purchase products, or advertise
your products or services. Our forums are for technical troubleshooting only. Any other content added
to the forums may result in your account being deleted.

You can also ask a question about equipment directly from the equipment page. Keep in mind your
question is accessable by all 70k+ MedWrench members! So make sure ot give them the best
informaiton that you can about your equipment so they can help.

BULLETIN BOARD

From the MedWrench homepage, you can also access our blogs, browse upcoming industry expos &
events, check out continuing education, and look at new career opportunities. The MedWrench
Bulletin Board is a great place to see what we have been up to, learn more about events to attend,
find a new job, and more.

RESOURCES

SETTINGS AND MY BENCH

Choosing the icon at the top right will take you to your profile, where you can edit your information,
view recent activity, manage subscriptions, and more.

The most important feature here is the "My Bench" tool. This toll allows you to build your own digital
work bench. Add items that you are currently working on, have experience with, or equipment you are
interested in.
6
Then you will be able to check here and see ONLY relevant information to you. This makes
MedWrench a better experience by streamlining the information you want, and filtering out
information you don’t want. Make sure to add to your bench right after making an account so you can
insure you see the information you need!

You can add manufacturers, categories, and equipment to your bench!

This makes sure you see relevant updates like training events, questions, articles, FDA alerts, and
more for equipment that you deal with directly.

We recommend adding items to your bench as soon as you first log on to MedWrench.

7
The “Community Feed” page is where you can see what items you are subscribed to, or subscribe to
more! If you scroll down the page, you will see all information relevant to your benched items.

From this page, you can edit your community feed (your bench homepage), subscriptions,
discussions, account settings, sign out, or edit your profile and even add a photo of yourself!

“Discussions” at the left shows forums you have posted or interacted with. You can easily update
yourself on anything you may have missed.

“Subscriptions” tab at the left shows what items and categories you are subscribed to. This can help
you easily ask a question, request a quote, check out product details, or manage your settings for this
item on your bench.

You can check from the top of the page what equipment, manufacturers, categories, and other items
you are subscribed from.

8
Scroll to each individual item, manufacturer, or category to manage the notifications you receive. At
the bottom of the listing, you will see this the ability to change those settings. If you do not want email
notifications when someone posts a question regarding this item, choose “none in the drop down box.
“Unsubscribe” Will take this item off of your bench.

We recommend that you check the boxes to receive instant notifications, and that this item displays in
your feed. Both will help you see the things on MedWrench that are important to you.

If you would like, you can even add a profile photo, by going to your “Profile” then choose “select a
profile picture”.
