The proponents found out the problem of this study is: How will this system help the management and the
staff to have an accurate service at the same time to monitor the records of the customers? The main problem of
this study is the inaccurate reservation of the customer. To book hotels and maintain reservations, the present
manual reservation system depends on paper and direct human interaction. This causes delays in exchange of
information throughout the hotel.
We noticed the following problems in the manual system after analyzing different traditional hotel room booking:
Guest or visitors may face hard time to getting place to stay in area.
It is difficult to store record of availability of room and huge number of customer’s records.
Payment processing and collection is difficult.
Inaccurate of records or data.
More money and paper and other resources are wasted to store the record of available rooms and customers.
Maintaining file security and standard is difficult
Possible loss of records and retrieving files.
Solution
The proposed solution will have ability to manage customer’s account where they can save their
preferences and information. Traveler or any other customers can book and secure their place to stay before or
without actually visiting the hotel rooms. The proposed system will be able to handle payment and transactions.
Main aim of designing this project is to design a system that can manage and handle the activities that are
involved in a hotel reservation in an organized, cost-effective and reliable way. It will help the administrative to do
their work in very simple manner without causing any trouble and Visitors or customer to reserve their room
according to needs before they come to hotel. Customer can use any electronic devices like laptop, computers,
smart phones or tablet, to book and confirm their stay on hotel. Based on the limitation and shortcomings identified
in the existing Hotel Room reservation system, the solutions have been provided for the better management to the
organization and ease of access to the customer.
One of the solutions or alternatives to the problems that a hotel faces is the development of a system that
can edit, delete, filter, monitor, store, and secured the client records. The Hotel Reservation system is a transaction
