Leaders I Admire
First and foremost, I have met a lot of leaders throughout my life and I must say, they all
have influenced me a lot especially in adapting their good characteristics of becoming a good
leader. Some are my seniors in school while some are members of my family. Meeting them
was the prime thing that ever happened in my life since they also helped me to become a good
leader and ruler of my own roller-coaster life.
During my childhood days, I thought I would never ever be a leader to a certain group of
people such as my fellow students or even my friends since I am too ashamed to voice out my
thoughts and opinions thinking that they might hate or judge me. However, with the help of
the leaders I have met in my high school days, I have learned to lead and organize my co-
students with the help of thorough observance and decision-making process in a certain
situation. I joined Supreme Student Government when I started high school as a grade 7
representative until my senior officers forced me to become a Vice President of the Overall
Junior High School Supreme Student Government Officers when I turned Grade 10, because
of this, I finally had the courage to face and fulfill my responsibilities and polished my skills
and potential to lead and control our school with the guidance of our SSG adviser.
On the grounds of this, I sincerely thanked all the leaders I have met and admired in my
life for helping me use and bring out the leader inside of me. It is them who helped me realize
that leadership is not something people should be born with, It is something that people should
ought to do according to their freewill and willingness to influence and support other people
effectively and efficiently. Moreover, I have realized that being a leader is not responsibility
but the willingness to help other people and also something that every individual should
possess in order to have a good life.
3. What type of leader you are? Describe yourself in relation with the type of a leader you
possess.
➢ I am the type of leader who ensures that nobody would be left behind since I hate it
when people felt that they’re being out of place or they felt like they are not belong to
a certain group of people because for me, everybody has the right to socialize and be a
part of the society. In terms of the traits of a leader that I possess, I confidently believed
that I could fulfill my objectives as a leader.
4. What do you think of the important attitudes of a leader in addressing the different
problems in our government?
➢ The important attitudes of a leader in addressing the different problems in our
government would be a great help seeing that these would help a certain leader to
conduct an effective and efficient decision-making process and ensuring that the
outcome or the things involved would be positive and won’t cause any harm especially
to the people.
