Experiment No. 1

This document provides instructions for a pharmacy experiment to prepare 50 mL of peppermint water. It lists the ingredients as peppermint oil, talc, and purified water. It shows the calculations to scale down the master formula to make 50 mL, which requires 0.1 mL peppermint oil and 0.75 g talc. The procedure involves accurately weighing the talc, adding the oil, triturating with water, filtering, and making up the final volume. The product is a clear liquid with a peppermint odor.
