inside your account. Click on the Exam Results tab in the SolidWorks Certification
Center:
Then click on one of the exams listed in the Exam Subject area. In the results area
you will get a bar graph display of how well you scored on the different topics of
that exam:
18
Hovering your cursor over each bar in the graph will also give you the actual
numerical percentage you scored on that topic. Please note that not all exams
have this reporting functionality.
19
View Your Exam Credit Balance
The first column will list the number of credits you have and will correspond to
the exam description next to it:
20
Issue A VT-Voucher
VT-Vouchers can be used to share a credit with another person. They can also be
tracked which is explained in the “Issue A Trackable VT-Voucher” section of this
guide. A VT-Voucher is a code that another user can redeem to gain credit(s) to
an exam. Basically you are taking an exam credit you own and giving it to another
user. Once a VT-Voucher has been redeemed by that user, it is no longer
available to you.
Unused VT-Vouchers can be redeemed back into your account which will be
explained in the “Redeeming Unused VT-Vouchers” section of this guide.
You can issue 1 or more VT-Vouchers at a single time. To start select the exam
you want to issue VT-Voucher for:
21
Note: You must have credits available in order to create a VT-Voucher. Once the
exam has been selected, click the Create VT-Vouchers Button:
On the next screen you then choose how many VT-Vouchers you want to create:
The second option is how many credits you would like the voucher to deliver to
the person redeeming the VT-Voucher. For example you may want to give
another user two chances to pass an exam. By selecting 2 as the value in the
22
Credits option, the user redeeming this VT-Voucher will get 2 chances to take that
exam:
In this example two VT-Vouchers will be created for Segment 1 of the CSWP
exam. Each redemption of a VT-Voucher will give that person two chances to
pass the exam. The issuer will have a total of four credits deducted from their
account balance of 15.
After you create the VT-Vouchers you will see them populated into the list in the
Active Vouchers area in the SolidWorks Certification Center:
The codes listed are the codes you will then give to the person you wish to take
the exam.
23
Issue A Trackable VT-Voucher
Trackable VT-Vouchers allow for the person issuing the VT-Voucher to see the
exam results of the person the VT-Voucher was issued to, and used by.
Select the exam you would like to issue a trackable VT-Voucher for and click
Create VT-Vouchers:
24
Note: in order to create VT-Vouchers you must have at least one credit for that
exam in your account.
On the VT-Voucher creation page select the number of VT-Vouchers you would
like to create, and select the option for them to be trackable:
You also have the option to tag the VT-Vouchers with a tag, this will aid in
identifying what vouchers are used for which purpose. For this example we will
tag them with “CSWP Class”.
After you create the VT-Vouchers you will see them populated into the list in the
Active Vouchers area in the SolidWorks Certification Center:
The codes listed are the codes you will then give to the person you wish to take
the exam.
25
After a person has taken the exam you can access their results under the Team
Info tab in the SolidWorks Certification Center:
You will then see a list of people who have redeemed and used the Trackable VT-
Vouchers. Clicking on their name will show you the results of the exam they took.
26
Redeeming Unused VT-Vouchers
VT-Vouchers that go unused can be put back into the account they were created
from. This includes both Trackable, and non-trackable VT-Vouchers.
27
Highlight the VT-Voucher you wish to redeem back into your account and click the
Copy Voucher Code Button:
In the box labeled Redeem, paste the code into it and click Redeem:
After it is redeemed you will notice that your credit balance has increased by that
amount, and the active vouchers have disappeared. You will need to perform this
for every outstanding active voucher you no longer wish to use.
