1. A physical environment conducive for learning is one that has consistent
practices that:
 keep the school safe, clean, orderly and free from distraction;
 maintain facilities that provide challenging activities; and
 address the physical social and psychological needs of the students.
2. Display boards can be powerful in communicating information about the
learning environment. They help in building and establishing the school
culture. These voids become one way for everyone to learn about the
vision- mission, goals, and values that the school upholds.
3. As a basic part of the school's visual environment, display boards have four
general purposes:
 Decorative - They offer visual stimulation and appeal to aesthetics.
They set the social and psychological atmosphere of the school.
 Motivational - They encourage students to perform better and have
greater confidence. An example would be the display of students
outputs that show that each output is recognized and valued. The

MY OBSERVATIONS
The following are my observations during my visitation at Camarines Norte State
College – Abañ o Campus last August 16, 2022:
 Most building are under construction, only three building are functioning.
 There are stores in front the school where you can buy school supplies,
print or scan papers, it also has bakery and computer shops nearby.
 A large quadrangle is present, with a small stage in the lower center and a
flag pole in the top center.
 Offices are air conditioned.
 The restrooms are accessible. However, not every toilet is operational.
 Science laboratory, Computer Laboratory and Auditorium (Quadrangle) are
available for students.
 The hallways are always neat and clean.
 Schools security guards are very accommodating.
 The school provides a secure environment for learning. The facilities are
usable, and the materials and equipment are functioning. What matters

going to school? What are the conclusions?
 Students' learning settings are the school campus and the classroom. As a result,
what makes up these two may have a direct impact on the pupils' learning process.
Everything in the school and classroom influences whether or not the student's
learning is productive or unsuccessful. For example, if the classroom is well-
organized, warm, and devoid of distractions, kids may learn better and produce
positive results in their learning because there is a sense of calm surrounding them
that provides them with a pleasant environment in which to study effectively. In
contrast, an unstructured classroom may have an impact on students' performance.
Furthermore, the physical environment, such as the school site and classroom, is one
of the variables that influence kids' learning. As a result, the school and instructors
must ensure that these learning environments are favorable to learning.
How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How does

 The concept of the school environment being one of the most essential variables in
the effectiveness of student learning is linked to the concept of "nature vs. nurture"
in child and adolescent development, specifically the premise of what "nature" wants
to stress about the kid's development. This idea holds that environmental elements
such as the people and surroundings around the kid, social ties, and so on have an

 When I grew more acquainted with the school atmosphere of CNSC College of
Education Laboratory High School, I fantasized about teaching there eventually. It
may not have modern structures or amenities, but what I admire most about it is
that they make the school environment as comfortable as possible for pupils to
learn. They allow students to access the learning facilities and materials that are
crucial for their learning and development. They provide opportunity for pupils to
achieve academically and for instructors to advance professionally. Finally, they
place the most emphasis on the quality of education and services that they will
deliver to their pupils.
2. What kind of school campus is conducive to learning?
 Varied students may have different ideas about what makes a school environment
conducive to studying. However, in general, for a school to be conducive, it should
include facilities that assist all sorts of pupils in the learning process. It must
provide several avenues for learning information in all areas, including physical,
emotional, and social development, rather than just intellectual advancement.
3. What kind of classroom is conducive to learning?
 In order to be conducive, a classroom that represents students and the learning

that occurs in it must be constructed. Classrooms should always be attractive,
pleasant, and appealing so that students desire to spend time in them. It should be

established and structured for student learning where multiple sorts of tasks may
occur at the same time, and it should increase student engagement.
4. In the future, how can you accomplish your answer in number 3?
 Teachers are not the only ones responsible for creating a learning environment in
the classroom. It necessitates collaboration among those involved, such as
students, instructors, and school stakeholders. As a prospective educator, I
understand how much thought and effort it takes to create a learning
environment in the classroom. The classroom layout, decorations, furniture, and
other elements should be tailored to the needs of the students. It is also critical to
consider all sorts of learners when designing a learning environment.

 A school is essentially a place where we study and learn. It is where we learn new
things, get valuable experiences, form social bonds, and cultivate significant
values inside ourselves. To fulfill all of these goals, a school must provide a safe
place for learning, promote excellent education, give simple access to learning
resources, and create opportunity for kids to study independently yet
experientially. These will not be possible unless the principal, teachers, parents,
students, and the community work together to achieve all of these objectives.

I see a number of board displays. I spotted around two to three board displays
outside several places, including outside the clinic, the Student Government Office, and
the Guidance Office. When the position of these board displays was examined, it was
discovered that they were at an ideal location where students could readily observe
them. The descriptions of each board display that I noticed outside the aforementioned
workplace are as follows.
It was a 60 × 90 corkboard with a white patterned background Outside the

College Student Counsil. This board display, unlike any other in the school, has a more
innovative design to attract pupils. It emphasizes the message with more graphics,
larger word sizes, and distinctive font styles. The components are printed on vellum or
bond paper, pasted on colored cartolina or art paper, then fastened to the board with
different colored glue or push pins. Curvy cut-out yellow cartolina forms the borders.
Students can readily understand the lesson it seeks to express due to its superb layout
and arrangement.
In the Guard’s area where we fill up the log book before we can enter the school,
there are a small tarpaulins that contains information about vital health and safety
information to children and instructors, such as safety guidelines and important
reminders and advice.

My Proposed Board Display
Theme: Regular updates on student progress and services, commending COEd

achievers on their success, and encouraging students to participate in various activities
Board Title: School Update, Announcement.
Rationale:
The CNSC College of Education Laboratory High School is a large Basic and Tertiary
Education institution. Disseminating information is a difficult task, especially when the
target audience comes from different levels or departments. However, using a board
display makes it easier to make effective announcements. Board displays can provide
convenience, effectiveness, and engagement. It also ensures that all information is
distributed to a large number of people. The Guidance Office's enhanced board display
aims to improve the existing board display in terms of design, layout, and information
organization in order to attract more viewers.
Objectives:
 to improve the guidance office's existing board display
 to incorporate more creative elements into the board display
 to modify the existing board display's design/layout
Best features of my proposed bulletin enhancement:
 Modern – by using aesthetic design it gives a fresh/modern look to the viewers’
especially to the students who pass by the board display.
 Balance - The board display appears organized, balanced, and arranged in
terms of spacing, color, and element sizes.
 Attractive - My board display is interesting and eye-catching due to its youthful
design and creative use of materials.

effective board displays. Elaborate on why each skill is needed.
1. Minimalistic View - Good teachers understand that they must limit their content
to the basic components they wish to teach. Rather than a display aimed at students
who understand the most, best, or easiest, the display would include students who
understand the least, worst, and most difficult.
2. Communication - Teachers understand that words combined with visual content
can frequently communicate more effectively than words alone.
3. Organizational Skills - Comparing and contrasting, grouping and arranging
content in a meaningful way are all aspects of organization.
4. Visual Skills - Teachers, like interior designers, must be able to visualize the
presentation and impact they want to create before applying it to the display.
5. Creativity - A creative teacher attempts to present concepts and content in an
engaging manner.
2) Which of the skills your name in number one do you already have? Recall your
past experiences in making board displays. How do you practice these skills?
 I have an experience creating displays, and my skills are the reason why I
was able to create effective board displays during our high school. Being
self-assured, creative, and innovative were key factors in my success with
board displays. Practicing these skills entails repeating the process and
seeking assistance from an expert. Despite having more experience, I still
need to learn new skills; learning never stops.
3) Which skills do you still need to develop? What concrete steps will you take on
how you can improve on or acquire these skills?
 Among the aforementioned five skills that a teacher must possess, I still
need to improve my organizational skills. In terms of critical thinking, I
should focus on gathering information, double-checking what's valid and
credible, and evaluating sources, as these are all steps in writing papers.
