Introduction to SQL
 SQL (Structured Query Language) is the most popular database language
in the world. It is a special-purpose programming language created to
manage data held in a relational database management system known
as RDBMS or RDSMS for stream processing.

 SQL is used widely by a variety of database systems to create queries and


manipulate data.

 It helps users perform various tasks such as updating something on the


database, retrieving data from the database, creating or modifying the
database system's schema (structure).

 Almost every industry, including thousands of databases worldwide, uses


SQL, which makes SQL skills highly desirable and increases career
opportunities.

 Our Introduction to SQL training course provides beginners with a strong


foundational understanding of how SQL works and what can be done with
it. After introducing the basics of relational databases and tables, this
course looks at common queries and joins using SQL.
