The Barasoain Church is not just one of the oldest churches in the province of Bulacan, it is also
considered as one of the most important religious building in the country. Because of its significant
influence on Philippine history, the church has acquired the moniker "Cradle of Democracy in the East."
The Barasoain Church was chosen to be the site of the First Philippine Congress, more widely known as
the Malolos Congress, headed by Don Pedro A. Paterno. In terms of major establishment of Barasoain
Church, there are a lot of places to visit for the tourists most especially Barasoain Church is considered
as the significant influence of Philippine History.

Museo ng Republika ng 1899 (Barasoain Museum)

A museum which is the Museo ng Republika ng 1899 (Barasoain Museum) is commonly known
that is created from Barasoain Church's former convent. The museum displays information about the
First Philippine Republic, the Revolution against Spain, and the Filipino War against the United States.
It's interesting to note that the idea of turning convents into historical or religious museums is not
particularly new. The Museo ng Republika ng 1899 is a modernized museum with a lot of graphical walls
throughout, similar to what we saw in the Aguinaldo Mansion. The museum currently offers five
galleries for guests to explore. The museum's five galleries are divided into the following categories:

 Gallery 1: Sigaw ng Kalayaan highlights the several revolts the Filipino people have waged
against their Spanish invaders.

 Gallery 2:       Watawat ng Kalayaan describes what happened from the signing of the Pact of
Biak-na-Bato to the declaration of Philippine independence.

 Gallery 3:       Pagtindig ng Republika focuses on the creation of the Malolos Congress and the
constitution-writing process.

 Gallery 4:       Saligang Batas at Pinunong Kinatawan draws attention to the Malolos


Constitution and its supporters.

 Gallery 5:       Pagtatanggol sa Republika highlights the threat that the American conquerors
posed to the young nation.

A dramatic light and sound performance on the Malolos Congress and the Philippine Constitution, as
well as a stereoscopy chamber with stereographs of the conflict with the United States, are added to the
museum's galleries.

Kalayaan Tree

One of the major establishments of Barasoain Church that since the beginning of time, the
"Kalayaan Tree of Malolos" has been a favored gathering spot for Maloleños. It is situated in front of the
Malolos Cathedral, also called the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. It's true that
this tree may appear to be identical to any other in the vicinity. But what matters is the history attached
to it.
Museo ng Kasaysayang Pampulitika ng Pilipinas

state, the establishment of its political structure, and the development of its democratic traditions

periods are recreated using miniature dioramas, theatrical backdrops, interactive terminals, and real
relics. Significant occurrences and individuals in the nation's political history are highlighted.

It is one of the must visit restaurants in Malolos that dubbed as the “Home of Authentic Bulacan

location is lovely and provides a cozy atmosphere. The staff is helpful, kind, and incredibly warm. Their
