Without further ado, I would like to talk about the Mekong

river, which is one of the biggest and most important rivers located in southwestern part
of Vietnam. Mekong river is about 2,700 miles. It’s also known as “River of the Nine
Dragons” because of its nine small branches which associated with the image of
nine majestic dragons.

Mekong river plays a preponderant role in southwestern citizens life. First and foremost,
the water taken from the river is the main source for production and living of the
residents. In addition, the accretion happening per annum with a large and fertile
amount of alluvium makes Mekong river delta become the agricultural heart of southern
Vietnam and the ‘rice bowl’ of the whole country. Not only being noted for agricultural
development, Mekong river is also the most important fishing region in Vietnam.

Furthermore, the river is an unmissable tourist attraction. The river is mentioned in a

variety of poems and songs. Mekong river is surrounded with variety of greens and this
is also a place where innumerable boats, houses and markets float upon the rivers.
Moreover, Mekong Delta has scores of canals and streams that criss-cross the landscape
like arteries. Embarking on a Mekong River tour provides tourists with fascinating insight
into the local rural way of life.
Thanks for the topic card. Without further ado, I would like to talk about my new
school library, where I often go and spend my time. To the best of my recollection,
the first time I went to the library was about one year ago. My bosom friend asked
me to go to the library to study. Since then, I go to the library almost every week
with her. As an avid reader, the library is a treasure to me. It is a beehive of
intellectual activities. Mostly I go there to read books and novels after tasking
lessons. Moreover, library always has a pin-drop silence so I can sit in there and
study in peace. I also get a great help in completing my assignments from the
resources present in the library. I really like the library as it is serene. The
tranquility of the library drives deep thinking and hence I am able to contemplate
on my career goals. Furthermore, there is scores of opportunities for social
interaction. Therefore, provincial library is always my favorite quiet place.
Thanks for the topic card. Without further ado, I would like to talk about my hiking
trip to Fansipan with my family two years ago. Normally, if my family has a long
holiday, we would go for chilling by the beach. But to make a little change, we
decided to go off the beaten track by going for a trip to Fansipan. This is an ideal
hiking spot for those who wish to challenge themselves with a steep and fairly
strenuous hike. Hiking with my family, I could enjoy the beauty of silence. I could
listen to the rhythm of my breath, look at the small details and lose myself in the
look of magnificent scenery, trying to engrave it in my memory, forever. I was
fully immersed in the nature surrounding me, with thousands of trees along the
way and the sounds of exotic animals, which I couldn’t normally see in the city.
When we reached the mountain, we were impressed by the whole panoramic view
of the forests, which was absolutely out of this world. I had been to the
mountainous areas before but never had I felt such a sense of achievement like I
did that time. That was my first time going on such an extraordinary trip, but I
guess it was probably one of the most exciting experiences in my entire life
