1. USER MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILTY
1.1 Using Functional administrator Responsibilty (GRANT Access to Roles)

Task User will create Grants in which you can give access to roles by using
functional administrator responsibility
Login ID: Riaz.scs
Steps Password: oraclehcm
1. Select Functional Administrator
2. Click Home
3. Click create Grant
4. Give name “AME_ADMIN”
5. Write Description “AME_ADMIN”
6. Set effective date
7. Select Grantee type “Specific User”
8. Select Grantee “AME_ADMIN”
9. Select object “AME Transaction Types”
10. Click Next
11. Select data context type “All rows”
12. Click Next
13. Click on set
14. Select “AME Calling Application”
15. Click select
16. Click finish
Desired Result Successfully created AME Access to roles
Note  This section helps to create Grant access to roles
 Grantee type: selection of grantee type on the basis of your
requirement to whom you to access grant

1.2Using System Administrator Responsibility (Installed AME)

Task User will check either AME is installed or not (in which you can run AME)
by using system administrator responsibility
Login ID: Riaz.scs
Steps Password: oraclehcm
1. Select and click system administrator responsibility
2. Select and click Profile
3. Click System
4. Tick on Application
5. Select “Human Resource” (In which domain you want to install
AME)
6. Click OK
7. Click profile and select “AME Installed”
8. Click OK
9. Click Find
10. Select YES in application box
11. Click OK
12. Click Save (Ctrl + S)
Desired Result Successfully installed AME
Note  This section helps to view and create AME is installed or not

2. APPROVALS MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR

Task User will check either responsibility has assigned or not in which you
design hierarchy by using Approval management administrator
responsibility
Login ID: Riaz.scs
Steps Password: oraclehcm
1. Select Approvals Management Administrator
2. choose filter and type transaction type
3. write oracle on the other box
4. click GO
5. Select responsibility in which you want to create approval
hierarchy (e.g. oracle self-service human resource)
6. New page opens just to see either it added by default or to create
responsibility by own
7. If not created then click create transaction type
8. Choose application “Human Resource”
9. Click select
10. Write Transaction type key e.g Human Resource
11. Write transaction type name e.g Human Resource
12. Click Next
13. Click ADD header
14. Write Order number “1”
15. Write sublist mode “serial”
16. Click Next
17. Usage type “static”
18. Click Next
19. Click Finish
Desired Result In whatever responsibility you want to take for running approval hierarchy
this section helps to give complete view of responsibility (e.g employee
self-service)
Note  This section helps to view responsibility in which approval
hierarchy run
 If name of responsibility is not created by default then you have to
create responsibility otherwise not.

3. APPROVALS MANAGEMENT BUSINESS ANALYST
3.1 RULES

Task This section helps to create RULES by using approvals management


business analyst
1. Select approvals management business analyst
Steps 2. Select transaction type and select oracle self-service human
resources
3. Select RULES of oracle self-service human resource
4. Select Rule
5. Click create
6. Add condition name “EARNED LEAVE_1”
7. Add rule type “List Creation”
8. Click next
9. Add condition
10. Tick on condition whatever you want to choose according to
situation/Rules
11. Click Continue
12. Add action type and select supervisor level
13. Add action and select “Require approvals up to first supervisor”
14. Click on Finish
Desired Result Complete process to create Rules for hierarchy
Note  RULES: If not created then create by own otherwise select from the
list
 Every leave is created individually because every leave has different
conditions
 If condition is not created in RULES then go to setup (Conditions)
for creation by own
 Transaction type: This section helps to select responsibility in

 Attributes: If attributes not shown in list the create it by own by
the help of create tab
 Conditions: Condition is according to situation you give hierarchy
either it is number of days, grade, position, user or people etc.
e.g: Earned leave = 33 days in year and member HR approve (1-15
grade) or chairman approve (16 & above grade)
 At one time you can one or more condition according to
attribute by click on rules and select earned leave or
whatever you want to add condition

3.2 SETUP (Attributes)

Task This section helps to create attributes by using approvals management
business analyst
Login ID: Riaz.scs
Steps Password: oraclehcm
1. Select setup
2. Click attributes
3. Select Attributes from the list HR_PROPOSED_GRADE_ID_SS
4. Click update
5. Select usage type “STATIC”
6. Click Apply
7. Click conditions
8. Click next
9. First click HR_IS_LEAVE_OF_ABSENCE_SS is True
10. Click Update in HR_IS_LEAVE_ABSENCE_SS
11. Select details “Is True”
12. Click apply

3.3 SETUP (Conditions)

Task This section helps to create conditions by using approvals management
business analyst
Login ID: Riaz.scs
Steps Password: oraclehcm
1. Select condition
2. If condition is not created then click create
3. Click condition type and select “Ordinary”
4. Click attribute and select attribute “no. of days” according to Rule
5. Details open according to condition you have create and enter
details according to condition (greater than 1 and less than or
equals to 33) means earned leave allows 33 days in a year
6. Click apply

Task This section helps to create action type by using approvals management
business analyst

Steps Password: oraclehcm
1. Click Action type
2. Tick on supervisor level in action type
3. Write order number which means how many levels you want to
approve
4. Select serial in ordering mode
5. Select serial in voting method
6. Click apply

Steps Password: oraclehcm
1. Click approver group
2. Select create
3. Write name according to rule
4. Write description
5. Select serial in voting method
6. Select Static in usage type
7. Add another row
8. Select HR People in approver type
9. Choose Name (abdul yousfani) in approver
10. Click Apply
11. It directly appears on approver group list
