Main affirmation of knowledge to share with students

Goals.
- Observation of multiple life forms. Identification of differences between living beings and
inert objects.
- Direct and indirect observation of animals and plants. Classification according to
observable elements, identification and denomination.
- Association of physical features and behavioral patterns of plants and animals with the
environments in which they live (camouflage, color change, coat thickness, etc.)
- The relationships between humans, plants and animals.
- Development of habits of care and respect for living beings.
- Oral communication of the experiences, based on images and brief written texts.
-This criterion tries to evaluate the capacity to establish elementary criteria of classification
(size, color, form of move) and identify animals and plants because they belong to one of
the established groups.

Activities
1.- On the bottom of the sea. The corner of the aquatic environment is elaborated inside the
classroom to investigate about the dolphin. A mailbox is installed in the school hall to leave
images, curiosities,
questions ... of said animal; can participate parents, teachers, other colleagues ...

2.- "The great day of the mascots". The students bring photographs and elaborate, with the
collaboration of their families, a mural with all the information about their pets.

3- Design. They create new animals; to which they must name.

4- Shadows and shadows of animals. A Power Point is projected that shows the children /
shadows, sounds ... of different animals. It is presented on the digital board of the library
and the pupils use in pointer to know the solutions.

5- Animal circuit. Characterized animals mimic the movements of some in the schoolyard.

6- Do you like comics? They make a comic based on several selected vignettes.

7- Do you know how to care for an animal? Based on the responses of the students, they
must discriminate between right and wrong actions when caring for animals.
