 The trailer(s) transporting the


equipment must be suitable to the
activity.
 The operator prior to transport the
equipment must be briefed about his

Fire Hazard Health and physical injuries such as burns  Toolbox meeting shall be conducted at

keep any chemicals and/or petroleum
material in his cabinet such as paint,
diesel container, etc.

torch cutting, welding, etc. for
equipment repair will be made only
after making sure that no combustible
and/or flammable material are near.
 No operator or any employee other
than competent welder will be allowed
to do the hot work activity.
 Fire extinguisher to be available
always at all times. Training will be
given to all involved personnel
regarding the proper usage of the fire
extinguisher.
 The location of the fire extinguisher
will be of 2m minimum and 5m
maximum away from the source of
ignition.
 The fire points will be free from
obstacles at all times.
 Fire extinguisher will be inspected on a
monthly basis (or otherwise needed),
tagged and registered.
 All combustible materials must not be
allowed to accumulate on site,
practice good housekeeping
techniques.
 Clean all oil / fuel spills immediately.
 In case a fire occurred, the trained
workers will extinguish it by using the
nearby fire extinguisher, if the fire is
big than all workers will evacuate to
the nearest designated assembly area.
 All workers will put masks if available
to avoid inhaling the emitted smoke or
to put their shirts or any other similar
mean in order to prevent inhaling the
emitted smoke until they are out from
the fire area.
 The diesel tanker shall be inspected on
a daily basis by the driver prior to start
the work.
 Smoking and usage of cell phones
while driving the diesel tanker or
refueling is strictly prohibited.
 The diesel tanker shall be grounded
while refueling.
