 1. Website introduction

This website tool can be set the macros into your Vortexgear keyboards.

After setting, you can download the ".bin" file, the ".txt" setting list and “.json” file.

You can also upload ".json" file to modify the setting you set before.

The following instructions will use CORE as a template.

Function name Description

Model Select different models
Layout Select different layouts
There are three levels of hierarchy:
Layer
Layer 1, Layer 2 and Layer 3 can be set
Function key Fn, Pn and Fn1( Only CORE available)
Bin file setting Switch different profiles, preset, custom 1, custom 2, custom 3
Some keyboard buttons can't be operated therefore you can

use a mouse to operate it.

The main page description as following：

1. Main list: Keyboard model, Layout, Layer and func.key(func layers).

3. Keyboard: Different model will display different keyboard, click the button to set up.

The process is as follows：

1. Select model, layout, layer, function key

 2. Setting Macro, Key Change, Func. Key Change.
After setting, the button will be displayed in the right list. Please note that the button
cannot be set repeatedly.
If this happens, it will follow the order of Func. Key Change> Key Change>Marco.
Func. key change will be the first priority.

and “Download .json file”

Please note：

Before dropping the ".bin(cys)" file into your keyboard, you must first change your deivce.

Please refer to the following procedure.：

1. Visiting our website and download the MPC firmware for your individual device.

This firmware can choose to use MPC or hardware(HWP) to program your device.

Please note that When installing dedicated firmware, you need a Windows operating system
to update.
A. Choose web programming (MPC):

Open the firmware, select Bin Group as “CORE By MPC” to update the firmware, press OK
and start the automatic installation. After the completion, your device has been changed
to web programming function.

B. Choose original hardware programming (HWP):

Open the firmware, select Bin Group as “CORE By HWP” to update the firmware, press OK
and start the automatic installation. After the completion, your device will return to the
original hardware programming function.

 5. Setting
This setting is divided into Macro, Key Change, and Func. Key Change is described as
follows:

Macro：Settings can be divided into single key or combined keys.

Please note that the key set as Macro no longer set to Key Change or Func. Key, otherwise
the setting will be overwritten.

Example for single key：M=AB (A↓A↑B↓B↑)

The next button is pressed at the end of the button action。

First click the M button in the Layout, then click the A button in the setting keyboard to set：

Delay：1、10、50、100(unit：ms), or custom delay seconds.

Type：Default(Execute once)、loop(Loop)、Toggle(Hold and execute)、Times(Custom number).

Event：↓(Press)、↑(release).

Complete setting requires A key to hit 2 times, then set B key twice after completion.

After setting, you can view the settings in the List.

Example for combined key：V= Ctrl + C (paste) [CTRL↓C↓C↑CTRL↑]

After clicking the V key in the Layout, and then clicking the Ctrl key in the setting keyboard,

you can set：

Delay：1、10、50、100(unit：ms) , or custom delay seconds.

Type：(Execute once)、loop(Loop)、Toggle(Hold and execute)、Times(Custom number).

Complete setting must be set by pressing L_Ctrl key once, C key setting twice, L_Ctrl key
setting 1 time.

After setting, you can view the settings in the List.

Key Change：

Single key position interchange.

Please note that if you use this configure, it will no longer setting Marco or Func. Key.
Otherwise the setting will be overwritten.

This figure shows that the Q key is setting to W key

After setting is completed, the key will change color. The List can view the changed key. This
figure is an example. The Q will change to W keycode

Please note that the Key Change setting cannot set the Func. Key to other keys, and the
setting of Func. Key Change is required.
As shown in the figure, M → G14 (Fn) is invalid setting, please use Func. Key Change setting.

Func. Key Change：

Different keyboard models have different Function Keys, and each can set up to 4 different
buttons, Please note that set to Key Change or Marco is invalid after the button is set to Func.

Key. The system only recognizes the setting of Func. Key Change.。

As CORE an example, the set Func. Key has "Fn", "Fn1", "Pn".

At least one button must be set, and up to four different buttons can be set.

After setting is completed, you can see "Fn ← Q, W, E, R" in the list, that means four keys are set
to Fn.
