MESSAGE
My warmest greetings to the school officials,
administrators, faculty members and
advisers, teachers, parents, and guardians of
the graduates and completers of School Year
2021-2022!
On behalf of the Department of Education
(DepEd), I am proud to celebrate the
successes, milestones, and achievements of
this batch’s graduates and promoted students

of Adversity.”
DepEd endeavored to address each challenge by instituting programs and reforms in the
Department. We have fully implemented the K to 12 curriculum and the aggressive
reforms of Sulong EduKalidad to produce globally competitive learners and teachers.
We also expanded our mission for accessible education by strengthening the Alternative
Learning System (ALS) and the Last Mile Schools programs to reach more Filipinos.
Likewise, we also established the National Academy of Sports (NAS) and Education
Futures Unit to create more opportunities for our learners and anticipate the future of the
education system in the country.
Committed to sustaining this momentum, the Department developed and implemented the
Basic Education-Learning Continuity Program (BE-LCP), where we offered various
learning modalities and produced award-winning initiatives such as the DepEd TV and
DepEd Commons at the height of the pandemic. Eventually, the Department held its ground
against an unprecedented challenge in basic education as we progressively expand the
reintroduction of face-to-face classes in the country.
Indeed, education is truly a shared responsibility. This is why we express our utmost
appreciation to our dear parents and teachers for being our partners in nurturing the youth
throughout the years.
To the Class of 2022, resilience is in your blood. You have survived one of the toughest
times in human history, yet still embraced education as your primary tool to success. I
believe that with your passion and purpose, you can reach your dreams and change the
world.
May you keep on harnessing and imparting wisdom as together, we will build a nation of
competent global citizens and future leaders.

MESSAGE
My heartfelt greetings to all our school
administrators, faculty members, and advisers,
teachers, parents and guardians, local officials, and
most especially to our graduates and completers of the
School Year 2021-2022!
On behalf of the Department of Education –
MIMAROPA Region, and as your Regional Director, I
congratulate you all for a job well done!
This year’s theme “K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing
dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of
Adversity” is a resounding tribute to all
your milestones and accomplishments not only this school year, but for the past two years. The
strength and bravery that you have manifested not only made you grow more mature as a learner,
but it has also made you resiliently smart to face and accept any changes and challenges that come
your way.
I would also like to congratulate our parents and guardians for their openness to collaborate
with the Department of Education. Without their consistent push and guidance, our learners would
not have achieved so much this past year. Thank you so much for being our strongest allies, our
champions of education, for without your solid help, this significant moment would not have arrived.
To our dear teachers and school administrators, you have brought honor and pride to the
Department of Education for all the things that you have done. You have truly shown sacrifice ad
tremendous efforts to ensure that education continues even during this global health crisis. Since
our country is slowly healing from this pandemic and now that we have re-introduced face-to-
face- classes in our schools, we continue to bank on your ingenuity to provide and cater to the
learning needs of our learners. There is nothing lovelier than to see our children learning in their
usual happy corners, hearing their loud voices, joyfully laughing, playing, and learning colorfully in
a safe and healthy environment.
To all our education stakeholders, our local executives, our partners in education, we can
never thank you enough for all your support, especially to our Basic Education Learning Continuity
Plan. May our partnership continue to flourish, for I am sure that there will be more opportunities
to come in the coming years.
In conclusion, let the words of Eleanor Roosevelt guide you— “The future belongs to those
who believe in the beauty of their dreams”. Confidently follow your dreams, and live the life that
you have imagined with so much grace, vigor and bravery. Stay committed to the future that you
have envisioned. Embrace the opportunities that come your way and spread love and compassion
wherever you go.
Again, congratulations my dear graduates and completers, and God bless you all.

MESSAGE
This year’s theme: “K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing and Fostering Resilience in the Face
of Adversity” is an acknowledgement to your accomplishments despite of the challenges
you have encountered due to pandemic. As you celebrate your significant milestone,
always nurture grateful and loving heart to your parents and mentors who have constantly
stood by you in your academic struggles and equipped you with intellectual, emotional and
spiritual tools that will help you tackle bigger challenges ahead.
I would like also to extend my sincerest gratitude to the parents for their love and
untiring support, for serving as facilitator of learning at home while their children are
answering their modules and experiencing such challenges of distance learning.
Likewise, to our front liners – the teachers, I commend you all for your efforts and
outstanding performance.
Finally, dear graduates, always uphold the values of honesty, diligence and hard
work. Strive hard to make a difference and be an instrument of peace and positive change.
May you will be inspired by these quotes “Your education is a dress rehearsal for a life
that is yours to lead” and “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you
have imagined. “
My best wishes with your future plans and the pursuit of your dreams. With that in
mind, “Don’t wait for your ship to come in-row out to meet it”.
God bless you all.
