LET’S GET STARTED!
1.Why is communication important to you and the society?
Answer: Communication is important to me and to the society because it not only helps
to share information but also helps to build relationships on each human beings.
2.Why do you think communication skills are considered to be essential in being a good
citizen?
Answer:In my own idea, communication are considered to be essential in being a good
citizen because when you are knowledgeable in many things with experiences ,you can
automatically understood the meaning of the message that someone wants to tackle
and by that way whenever you share the information with the same meaning as the
person shared to you then you are a good influencer or a good citizen. Here it is,when
we imagine two people talking without enough knowledge of a particular issue both
might only can’t totally understand what they’re talking about or the topic might only be
full of questions that both of them can not answer. That is why to be a good citizen we
should know the right or good skills in communicating.
3.Why do you think there should be ethics in communication?
Answer:There should be ethics in communication especially when a group of people are
having communication even only the two people talking who didn’t follow ethics rules
might have difficulty to fully received the point of a message as how the sender deliver
the message with his/her reaction in that particular information.
4.What problems can arise when people are not ethical in their communication
practices?
Answer:When people are not ethical in their communication practices the problems that
can arise would be the spreading of fake news, there would be giving of differences of
meaning in the same issue/situation ,bad source of information, bad influence, and
makes the world chaos.

LET’S DO THIS!
1.There are instance me and my younger sister, at home after going school we play
sometimes like asking for what we have learned at school and there were things she
didn’t understand me while I myself as well can’t explain to her the way she can
understand it because I know whatever way I’m going to do for her I knew she won’t still
gets me and we both decided to stop asking to each other because we can’t find
ourselves compatible with that particular topic. I relate the situation between me and my
sister in the Osgood-Schramm model of communication because I believe that if me
and my sister has the same experience we’ll be able to end our topic more interesting
and clear just like how Osgood-Schramm model explains itself that there must be a
common field of experience as there are parts of the sender’s experience that the
receiver has no knowledge of.
2.In my own idea, Cebu Mayor Gwen Garcia has violated the credo of
truthfulness, accuracy, honesty, and reason because seems like she used to tricked the
public , I don’t know what she is pointing in that video but ishe looks like a lier in front of
the public.

[Thai 'Life Ensurance' Commercial]
The Thai advertisement or commercial is not more likely only a reminder for Thai
citizens because I believe that it is referring for many should know that that we should
love ourselves especially to love and appreciate those people who always understand
us at the same time who will constantly chose to loved us even in our wicked attitude
because if you truly knew this saying,“Regret comes Last” you will understand what I
am talking about and another message that a commercial wanted to say is to be always
prepared, it makes you less exposed to danger like having–a life ensurance because
we don’t know what will happen to us right now, later or maybe tommorow. However,
clearly the only main purpose of a commercial is to introduce the “Thai life insurance” to
encourage thai citizens to apply and be one who benefits into it. Thai life ensurance
commercial is exclusively only for Thai citizens.Life ensurance helps people paid in their
hospital bills when they’re lack financially, it helps them secure their health because that
is the real objective of a life ensurance to protect people’s health.According to what I
have researched age that can already apply in life ensurance ranges at age 20s-30s but
I have heard many times that only age group of 40s who were mostly take applied to life
ensurance.
The commercial presents its business through a daughter who was bullied at school
because of she has a deaf father and eventually tried to kill herself because of she can’t
handle the bully anymore and later you will noticed because of their poor status in life,a
father is willing to gave all he had like shelter just to save his daughter’s lives and this
commercial would like to present a commercial that has a good intention, it chose to
help many people especially poor family to support them financially when they are at
risk or in danger ofcourse it is according to the contract that they talked about upon
each other. This commercial has given many people a chance to be harmless, a chance
that a person may still be able to takes care of his/her health or save his/her life while in
pains or enduring illnesses/diseases where Life ensurance could be a refuge in times of
health disasters. The commercial only wanted to say that they can be your partner
especially in times of when your health is in danger.
On the contrary,to simple understand the commercial I suggest an example like this,“a
relatives or a member of family who get a serious illness and needs to confined at the
hospital but has a poor status in life, ” is enough and wahy not more sensitive.Because
as you can see the video or the commercial that is being played can bring harm to
anyone specially to young people. The part that a girl was trying to kill herself is what I’m
pointing that is harmful or can bring negative views to mostly at ages of young people
bacause young people are sensitive and aggressive.Direct message is better than
beating around the bush, try to be simple and direct and it will cause a great impact to
many customer/people ,it will be imprinted in people’s mind in a good way when you’re
being realistic. I don’t think that people can immediately see the real point of message
of the commercial, maybe they see it but what they feel would rather turn their attention
to the father and child.
We should always be careful on saying what we would like to say in a way that people
can easily understood us like dressed the manners of being direct and simple to use
words because if this wouldn’t be followed problems will start attacking us.Issues will
keep distracting us and take us to negative mindset.I hope everybody would not chose
to be of those who often shared negative thoughts but rather chose to be number one
source of good and right information.

1. The stereotype about the character that I’ve viewed is that a girl believes that all
men are pigs.
2. The message is stereotypical and unfair because everybody knows that not all
men are bad only just that girl maybe met a man who only did bad things to her
and that’s why she just easily say such things that can not be true.
3. Its because the comic was telling the reality. Many people would really feel the
comic even me I also realize with that comic that whoever men we met online or
personally and did some worst deeds to us we can’t still say that there are no
exemption in men of being bad because what about those father who worked
hard to give their children a brighter future? Our brothers who defend us
whenever we had enemy outside of our home? Were they belong to be a bad
men too? See, that is why everyone can relate the comic but in way of realization
that we should not judge all group of like men because we didn’t met all men in
this world and that’s the reality.
