8. A
II. Of the 14 categorizations of multiple talents, choose only two and discuss.

Mathematical – people who can easily solve problems logically. They are good at working with numbers, can easily
analyze situations and find solutions to problems. They can be able to understand patterns, codes, systems and others
which includes numbers.

Linguistic – have the ability to understand both spoken and written language. They can also do well in speaking and
writing and can easily learn a language. Linguists can easily express their feelings and speaks persuasively and fluently
about a certain idea.

III. How do you account to these statements (explain each):

a. There are persons who are intelligent but not diligent
- It means that there are people who are intelligent but does not take time and effort to do such
tasks. They are only smart but do not give effort into something, if they do not feel like doing it.
b. There are individuals who are diligent but not intelligent
- It means that a person is willing to do everything just to finish their task but is lacking in some way
like strategies. The thing about diligent people is that they are hardworking and full of effort. This
comes both with intelligent and unintelligent people.
c. Which do you prefer, being intelligent or being diligent?
- I prefer to be both because if you are willing to work hard for something and you are intelligent
enough to know the things you need to do, then you will reach your destination. Example is Mark
Zuckerberg who is intelligent but left school and started Facebook. He may have left school but he
still became successful because he worked hard to make his own app.
IV. Does a person with multi talents have a well-rounded personality? Why?
- Yes, because if the person can do so much things that means he/she is persevered to do many
things as long as it is in its interest. He is capable of doing many things beyond his capacity which is
because he is in his right behavior.

Reflection:

From this topic, I thought that if you are willing to do tasks which are totally different from what you
usually do, you feel that you achieved something good.
