Advanced Being Safe Security App with Scream

Alert

1) Background/ Problem Statement

People are facing a lot of physical harassment in public places such as


railway-bus stands, footpaths etc. There is a need for a security system
to provide safety measures in public places as well as travelling alone
through public transport. Stay Safe Application is an innovative safety
application for women, men, senior citizens and anyone who needs
assistance in an urgent situation.
The front-end involves Dart and the back-end involves SQLite. Here, the
IDE used is Android Studio. Android Studio is the official Integrated
Development Environment (IDE) for app development. Our flutter-
based Stay Safe Security System will help the user to reach out to their
family and friends who can navigate their current location.
This project is based on the flutter framework. Dart is a programming
language that Google developed and keeps up with. A cross-platform
framework for building high-performance mobile apps is called Flutter.
2) Working of the Project

In this system, the user can set male or female scream alarms as well as
police sirens so that when they are in danger the alarms will scream
and the user can reach the people who can help them. They can also
make a fake call with this system, and the call will be initiated for a
minute with the caller’s name and number.
The user can share their current location with their family or friends
who can help them by tracking their location. A link will be generated
when the user turns their share location on and then the user can send
that web link to anyone who can track them on Google Map.
The list of family members and friends will be displayed with their
details to the user for quick access. When the user turns on the SOS
feature, and in an emergency, they shake their mobile phone five times
an email or SMS will be sent to all friends from their lists with a location
link.
3) Advantages

- It is easy to maintain.
- It is user-friendly.
- The system will be useful to keep themselves safe.
- It will help contact family and friends in an emergency by
sharing their current location.
- The voice alarm helps to distract and divert the attackers.
4) System Description
The system comprises 1 major module with their sub-modules as
follows:
 USER:

 Scream Alarm
- The user can set a male voice scream alarm.
- They can also set a female voice scream alarm accordingly.
- Also, they can set police sirens.
 Fake Call Timer
- Fake call will be initiated for a minute with name and
number
 Track Me
- Share location (on/off)
A link is generated and then the user can send that web link
to anyone who can track them on Google Map.
 Friends List
- List of friends and family member’s details for quick access.
 SOS (Manual or shake 5 times)
- An SMS/Email will be sent to all Friend lists with a location
link.
5) Project Life Cycle

The waterfall model is a classical model used in the system


development life cycle to create a system with a linear and sequential
approach. It is termed a waterfall because the model develops
systematically from one phase to another in a downward fashion. The
waterfall approach does not define the process to go back to the
previous phase to handle changes in requirements. The waterfall
approach is the earliest approach that was used for software
development.
6) System Requirements

I. Hardware Requirement

i. Laptop or PC
 macOS Sierra and above (If Mac setup is required)
 Windows 7 or higher
 I3 processor system or higher
 8 GB RAM or higher
 100 GB ROM or higher

ii. Android Phone (6.0 and above)


iii. iPhone (iOS 9 and above) (If the iOS version needs to be
checked)

II. Software Requirement

iv. Laptop or PC
 Android Studio with Flutter Plugin
 XCode (Latest version) (If the iOS version needs to
be checked on Mac)

7) Limitation/Disadvantages
- The device will need to be actively on to use this system.

8) Application – This application helps the user to reach their friends


and family member to track their current location.
