Course Overview:
The course has been designed with the following rationale:
The overarching purpose of this course is to convey the benefits of AI and study some underlying principles
behind it with hands on exercises
Course Objectives:
The course has been offered by the Instructor to satisfy the following objectives:
1. Understand the basics of Artificial Intelligence and why it is important in modern society
2. Create a Framework for Artificial Intelligence from a number of Success Stories
3. Brief introduction to machine learning & reinforcement learning
4. Evaluate the Genesis & Concepts of Artificial Intelligence and their linkage to Technology-oriented Decision
Support Systems. The course will also enable the participants to understand the various elements of an
effective AI System.
5. Analyze the disruptive potential of AI technology on business, as well as learn through case examples how AI
needs to protect and enable Human Values.

Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the course, a student shall:
1. Apply AI to Decision Support Systems;
2. Understand the role of AI in developing and driving a Humane Approach to link Business Process with
Humans;
3. Remember how business value is generated through an effective Application of AI
