ESSAY O HOW TO CONDUCT ONESELF INSIDE THE

COMPANY/BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT DURING THE IMMERSION
PERIOD
Work Immersion is one of the necessary part of pre-employment where an individual’s skills and
abilities to appreciate essential and profitable process will be taken into a test. This part is also for a student to
apply their skills they have gained in school.

Firstly, It is important to oneself to have a time management, be on time, because punctuality is the key
on creating a good impression. Also being a good leader that we conduct by ourselves at work can determine on
how others will treat you. Gaining respect to the people around you. Being approachable is also important to
conduct on oneself, It is the way to create a good team building at your work.

The way we dressed oneself is one of the important thing. Dress in an appropriate way, Whether it is
for work or you can wear casual clothes and appearance should be neat and clean. Being good friend is also
important, listening to their opinion for a wider idea, a true professional is willing to help his/her co-workers
when they are facing a challenge at work,

Being a positive thinker is important to conduct on oneself and has a heart to encourage ones who feel
down. One thing is honesty, as a professional we should be honest whether it is a small thing or big thing.
Honesty makes us close to our boss, it also make our trust stronger and better. Be diligent, always keep in mind
that there is no human become a successful in life because of laziness. Laziness is a big barrier in life to reach
our goals and become a successful. So that always push yourself to the limits. Be competitive, but don’t take it
too badly because being competitive doesn’t always mean that you need to compete with others and make them
your rival, compete with yourself rather, to be a better version of yourself. And you should make sure to balance
everything so that you can’t affect other people’s self-esteem. Be flexible , we should always willing to learn and
improve ourselves even if it is already out from your comfort zone.
2

One of the important thing that we must conduct on oneself is to give an importance to you job or work,
we must on time and be patient if there is something that makes you upset. Make them feel especially your boss
that you have care on your job and to their time.

Lastly don’t you ever forget to asked for help on our God, ALways put on our mind that we cannot do
all our task or anything without the power of God, without the strength that he gave unto us. Also don’t forget to
ask for guidance and protection that you may be able to continue the living for tomorrow and for the next days,
and always believe in your self. And always keep on mind that your not just bringing your name, rather you’ve
bringing of your school’s name and family’s name, so make sure that you possesses formality act accordingly to
your level, pay carefully attention to your office etiquette.

REFLECTION PAPER

This work immersion made me realized and cleared my mind that, it is still hard to be in the actual
workplace than studying. In actual work, we need to be productivity and dependable at all times. There is a lot of
task that will be given to us and we should be prepared and must have a knowledge or idea about that task. Being
positive thinker would help us to do the task well and for us to be successful in life.

This work immersion also taught me on how to be thrifty because of the status of my life. I saw how my
parents work hard just to fulfill all my needs for this chapter of my senior high school and it motivates me to
reach my goals in life and to work hard as also.

For my entire ten days of work immersion in ARTDAR Accounting , Bookkeeping and Insurance
Services, I’ve learned a lot of things that made me realized to the real world of being independent in life that I
can surely use in my future job. First thing that I’ve learned is to be punctual, being on time makes our superior a
good impression, not only to our superior but of course to the people around us. It show how we commit to our
job. Second one is being passionate, because if we truly love or valued our work, no matter how difficult it was,
we will never get tired of working, we will enjoy it instead. Next , being initiative to the task that they were
going to give, being initiative in cleaning workplace.

Lastly, Being polite, don’t forget to greet your superior and co-workers and co-trainee, It shows being
approachable and it gives good vibes to each other. It is true that, ‘smile’ was the best thing that we can wear, it
might reduce our stresses and bad moods.

This work immersion drives me on reality, my 80 hours of immersion taught me a lot that I will surely
used to my future job.
