Comparison Between DSRC & C-V2X

DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communications) uses IEEE 802.11p and has been used for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication since 2015, while C-V2X (Cellular V2X) is a newer 3GPP standard using LTE and 5G cellular technology for V2X. Key differences include DSRC using dedicated spectrum for shorter range safety communications, while C-V2X can use cellular networks for longer range but with higher latency. Neither system has been universally adopted yet, but C-V2X may have better long-term growth potential through integration with existing cellular networks and standards.
