Mock Interview Script

Secretary: Hello Mr. Balidoy you are up next for the interview kindly give me your resume and please
proceed to the interviewer’s room.

Markjedy: Good morning sir it's nice to meet you I’m came here for my job interview today

Interviewer: Good morning as well nice meeting you too now let’s proceed to the interview, first tell me
about yourself and why you want to apply for this position that we are looking for.

Markjedy: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be interviewed for this position today. I have
applied for the job because I believe the skills and qualities I possess are a match for the job description.
I have several years’ experience in this industry which means I can come into your company and make a
fast and immediate impact. I am a strong communicator, I work very well both on my own and as part of
a team, I will always provide excellent customer service and I will always perform to a high standard
whilst under pressure. I am a positive, forward-thinking person and I genuinely believe I can come into
the team and help push the company forward towards achieving its goals.

Interviewer: So why do you want to work for us?

Markjedy: I have been keen to apply for a job with your company for some time now, and I have kept
my eyes open for the right opportunity to be advertised. I want to work for your company because not
only do I believe this is a place I can develop and grow as a person, but it is also a place that is clearly
driven towards being the best it can be within this sector. The research I carried out before applying
points to the fact your company is well run and you clearly support your employees in their work. The
people I have spoken to who already work here had nothing but positive things to say about how the
business is managed and how everyone is encouraged to be innovative and positive in their approach to
their work.

Interviewer: Aside from what you’ve mentioned earlier what are your other strengths.

Markjedy: I still have numerous strengths aside from what I’ve mentioned earlier just like being reliable,
you can rely on me easily with responsibilities or any difficult challenges I am also very independent and
flexible for example you can teach me a work and I can adapt to it quickly.

Interviewer: Afar from all of that strengths you’ve mentioned what are your weaknesses?

Markjedy: I think my weakness is that I prefer to do my own work as much as I can. I can say that I’m a
little bit stubborn to get some help I struggle to get a work done when I get loads of them but if I can still
carry on with my own then I will prefer that more, but I am aware that this is not a good behavior and
hopefully I can change that when I am inside your company.

Interviewer: Can you handle change? If yes how well do you handle change?

Markjedy: Yes of course I can handle change, just like in my previous work my last boss left and he was
replaced with a new one. The new boss had different strategies on how he handles the project I am very
flexible and hardworking that’s why me and my team managed it and had a pretty good results.

Interviewer: Lastly Mr. Balidoy, why do you think we should hire you?
Markjedy: You should hire me because I can add value to your company I can work alone and complete
my task with the company expectation. You should hire me because I am very flexible I can handle
multiple task and will always remain calm even under pressure. Finally, being somebody with a diverse
range of skill and competencies, I will come into role and start contributing to your objectives
immediately.

Interviewer: Hmm, OK great. OK, so I think we should wrap it up for this interview because there’s still a
lot of applicant waiting in line. We’ll just assess your resume later on, and we’ll contact you as soon as
possible regarding your application for our company. So, I guess that’s it, and thank you Mr. Balidoy for
today, nice meeting you.

Markjedy: Likewise, sir, it’s been a pleasure meeting you. Thank you and Good Morning once again. I’ll
take my leave.
