FIELD STUDY 1
Performance Task 1
I need to undergo teaching internship because this program is an essential element for a
student’s life career not only in the course ‘teaching”. The skills and opportunities that I will
attain after internship will definitely help me to be fully- equipped for my future in the field.
I eagerly wanted to experience the actual situation of being a teacher for I know that
teaching internship plays a vital role for me to learn more. Internship is a very important part
that would allow me to be on hands on experience to prepare myself in the future or next
journey of mine. It would open more connection that will surely last for a lifetime. Teaching
internship is also very important to me because through the help of professionals like my
cooperating teacher. It will develop my professional aptitude, and to strengthen my
character. In internship, I can get an opportunity to look for the real world or the face of
teaching pertaining to my chosen career. Most importantly , by attending teaching internship,
I know that it can slowly help me boost my confidence, increase my motivation and for me
to be ore aware about my roles and function as a teacher to be.
Performance Task 2
Among the 4 phases of internship, which seems difficult? Why?
Phase 1 – Orientation Sessions
Phase 2 – Observation and building relationship
Phase 3 – On site Tasks
Phase 4 – Final demonstrations and accomplishing exit forms
Among this four (4) phases of internship, final demonstration and accomplishing exit forms
is the difficult one for me because I am not yet that expert when it comes to classroom
teaching and doing a demo. Although I’ve experienced before to demonstrate it’s just still
daunting for me as a new student teacher.I have that moment that when I am nervous I can’t
speak continuously or I can’t elaborate well what I am saying which may affect the learning
process of the students. Truthfully speaking, I am not that expert when it comes to designing
a lesson plan. Though I have a bit knowledge about its format still, I still needed a help and
additional tips from my instructors towards designing suited activities and lesson for my
learners. Aside from final demonstration, I also find phase 4 as difficult stage for when it
comes to the final stage/ phase a lot of tasks or to accomplish exit forms needed for us to
pass. I just needed lots of perseverance and persistence to push through. Since it’s the last
stage or phase, it is the difficult one wherein I as a student teacher will now apply all the
tips, knowledge and learnings I’ve gain from my cooperating teacher about classroom
teaching. With the right mind, preparations and eagerness to learn; I know that after our
internship I will say that this stage is not difficult anymore and I can say that I pass!

Resolution 435 s. 1997 Code of I will wholly commit myself to the teaching profession.
ethics for Professional Teachers Since this existing law pertains to the values or ethical
standards that a teacher should have. I will apply this in
my profession by following to do what is right and what
is good considering of having a good image and a good
role model to my students and future fellow co- teachers
and subordinates, in the community and in the state/
government.. For example, just like in Article VIII-
Section 2 which states that I as a teacher shall recognize
that the interest and welfare of my learners are the first
and foremost concern, and shall handle each learner
justify and impartially. As a future teacher, I will put my
learner’s sake at the center of my teaching and be fair at
all times.
RA 10627, Antibullying Act of I will create a learning environment where bullying is not
2013 allowed. I will make sure that anti bullying act would be a
part of the rules and regulations of my class. I would
teach my future learners to be good and welcome and
include everyone. As a future teacher, I will also make
sure that I allot time in discussing classroom activities
and discussion relating to bullying and violence including
the harm it cause. I will be always in touch with the
parents to discuss the performance of their child. Most
importantly, I will make sure that my classroom
environment and students are friendly and free from any
violence or bullying.
RA 7877, Anti Sexual I will make my students feel that I am a trusted resource. I
Harassment Act of 1995 will do my best to build a good and harmonious
relationship towards my learners. I will ensure that aside
from being a teacher I can also be an advocate for them if
they are experiencing any unwelcome sexual behavior
from anyone.I will also open a discussion about anti-
sexual harassment for them to educate about the things
they can do interacting to others and if they were
harassed. I as a teacher will ensure that Respect and
building a healthy relationship between same and
opposite sexes and to promote women’s right and gender
equality will raise as my concern in my future classroom
environment.
RA 4670, Magna carta for Public This act is a very important to all public teachers because
School Teacher it protects their rights as teachers like their rights of
tenure office, academic freedom, tax reliefs and other
benefits. With regards to this existing law, I will follow
and will seek for any programs that can improve or
upgrade my knowledge and skills and also equipped my
competence in order to give my students the best quality
of education that they deserve as well. I will make sure
that I won’t be a stagnant in service when I become a
professional teacher. I will come at school earIy and work
overtime if necessary. I would do my best to give
e what I take or privileges I have. I will be committed on
my service in taking care of my students not only entering
school and into the salary only. I’ll make sure that in the
nearer future I also give my service to my learners and
educate them academically and morally.
DepEd 40, s.2012, Child As a teacher who influences a child most, and contributes
Protection Policy more in shaping of his/her personality. I will create a safe
and conducive learning environment ensuring that they
are protected from any forms of harm, exploitation,
abuse, neglect, inhuman, and mistreatment. I will not only
be a teacher but I will also stand as second parent to my
future learners. Specifically, I will get myself more equip
in knowing my learner’s situation or problem
encountering if ever. I would equip myself to have the
knowledge and awareness about the programs that our
government is implementing concerning the welfare of
the child.
