3. Develop globally competitive technologist and;
4. Establish, national and international linkages in order to promote the OJT that will cater to the economic upliftment of the region in
particular and the country in general.

PROGRAM INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES

Course Name : Analytic Geometry

Course Code : Math 3
Course Unit : 3 units
COURSE DESCRIPTION: It is important for the students to have acquired better analytic knowledge in algebra & trigonometry in
order to tackle the course satisfactorily, mathematical concepts are introduced followed by several
examples with step by step solutions & illustrations presented by graphs & figures for clearer analysis &
understanding.

Pre-requisite : Plane Trigonometry

Contact Hours : 54 Hrs
Course Intended Learning Outcomes : Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to:

1.) Introduce and discuss the fundamental concept in algebra & geometry.
2.) Illustrate better understanding on lines, families of lines, circles & its families, conics, transcendental functions, polar coordinates &
parametric
Equations.
3.) Solve and simplify problems as evidence of greater analytical skills among the students.
