Tegel Airport to City:

Tegel Airport is located in Berlin's northern district Reinickendorf and is closer to the city than the
airport in Schönefeld.

Public Transport:
Tegel Airport has no direct link to the S- or U-Bahn. The fastest way to get to the city is either
by TXL Express Bus or by the Express Bus X9. Both stop right outside the terminal.

TXL Express Bus towards City Centre:


The bus travels in six-minute intervals between Tegel Airport via Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) to
Alexanderplatz. Depending on the time of day the ride takes about 37 minutes. Fare: 2.80 Euros
one way. Fare for children between 6-14 years: 1.70 Euros.

- Berliner Dom (Cathedral) 7Euro
- Free walking tour (based on tip ~ 5-10 euro), covers city in 2hours
