1. About Pulse

Pulse made its venture into the Indian market as an Internet Service Provider and Internet
Telephony Service Provider in 2003. We are licensed by TRAI to Provide VoIP/Internet Services vide
Unified License Number 821-162/2014-DS. Ever since its inception, the statistical graph has shown a
significant growth in developing customer base and carrier-interconnections with our end to end
Business Solutions. Enjoying remarkable growth over the years, Pulse has managed to achieve its
original goal of becoming the most preferred destination for its services.

2. Internet Leased Line:

Pulse provides 1:1 Premium Symmetric Bandwidth. Pulse Network is so redundant in nature since
we have all the THREE major backbones out of India in our network therefore ensuring that we
provide with 99% uptime. This network is required mainly to address VOIP with absolute redundancy
and we have succeeded in the market for past 12 years. Therefore addressing data with redundancy
will never be an issue. This helps you to have just one service provider rather than having many in
order to ensure redundancy and increase costs unnecessarily

 Pulse is directly associated with Teleglobe, PCCW, Flag Tel & SingTel for its International
operations thereby providing the same services at a cost much lesser than what our
competitors offer.
 Pulse can provide Internet on MULTIPLE Last Miles therefore addressing redundancy at
every level including the last mile.
 Pulse’s network is integrated with multiple collocations to multiple BTS and multiple BTS
to a single end point. This helps to have just one service provider rather than having
many in order to ensure redundancy and cut costs thereby resulting in Direct Profit.

9. Network Availability Guarantee Remedy:

In case the customer experiences an outage during the contract period in excess of the
guaranteed uptime, the customer shall receive the following service credit:

Terms and Conditions:
 Outage will not be accounted for:

 Interruptions due to failure of equipment provided by customers or third party on behalf


of customer.

 Trouble/Fault related to Local Loop from any other BSO and customer’s own
termination devices.

 Acts or omissions of CUSTOMER (including the provision of inaccurate information


knowingly or unknowingly), or any use or user of the service authorized by CUSTOMER
or CUSTOMER caused outages or disruptions

 Failure in providing the stable power and other infrastructure required for service
equipment and /or customer CPE at the customer end.

 Disconnection due to non-payment of PULSE dues.

 Reasons of Force Majeure and external factors beyond the control of PULSE and the
Customer.

14. Statutory & Regulatory Requirements

1. Pulse has the right to block the Internet sites as per directive of the DOT/TRAI.
2. Customer to maintain a log of all users connected & using service.
3. Services shall not be used for either of the following activities:
 VOIP from an unauthorized service provider
 Terminating the voice communication to Telephone within India.
 Establishing connection to any PSTN in India.
 Resell or cause to resell or offer to sell this Service.

15. Documents Required for Processing Internet Leased Line:

1. Network Diagram in Company letter head.


2. Photocopy of Company PAN Card.  
3. Photocopy of ID Proof of Authorized Signatory duly signed with Company seal
4. Memorandum of Articles of Association.
5. Address proof of the Company Premises (Installation Site)
6. Letter stating Purpose for taking internet bandwidth from Pulse in Company letter head.
7. Photo of the authorized signatory (3 Nos.) 
8. Letter from the organization stating that the concerned is the authorized person to sign
the documents.
9. Copy of OSP/STPI License

16. Terms & Conditions

1. The above price is exclusive of GST 18%.


2. Quarterly Payment to be made in advance on or before the due date in the
invoices.
3. Contract Period - One year.
4. The contract can be terminated with a minimum advance notice period of
One month post one year contract period ONLY. In case the customer still
disconnects the link, complete unbilled revenue of total unexpired contract
period shall be charged upfront from the customer.
5. Order can be logged in only after the receipt of the required documents as
mentioned in the proposal. The committed delivery time line will be counted
only from the date of receipt of the required documents.
6. Permission if any should be obtained by you from the building authorities for
installing the device.
7. Pulse will deploy a pole with no cost for the feasible sites and additional
charge will be collected for sites feasible with tripod @ Rs.15000/- +GST and
for Tower @ Rs.2500/-+GST per meter in Chennai and Rs.3000+GST per
meter rest of TN.

17. General Scope of Work:

Pulse end scope:


   
1. Mast Installation. (Pole / Tripod / Tower)
2. RF device installation and Cat6 cable routing from RF device to server room. Pulse will deploy
cabling or fiber up to 50 metres with no cost for Ethernet and fibre.
3. Additional charges will be collected from the customer for the cabling above 50 metres for
the In-building cabling work. The charges would be Rs.105+GST per meter for cabling with
PVC pipe including laying charges and Rs.122+GST for cabling with HDPE pipe including
laying charges.
4. One among our Technical team will visit the installation site to check the in-building cable
routing. A detailed report along with the network diagram will be sent to the client. The
Purchase order for the inbuilding work to be issued in favour of GHPulse solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Post receiving a written approval or the Purchase order from the client, Pulse will commence
the in-building work.
5. Fiber Cable Routing from Building Compound to Server Room.
6. Ethernet handover and bandwidth testing during handover.
7. Fiber cabling for armoured cabling will be charged extra.
8. Any civil work and digging or trenching work will be charged extra.

Customer end scope:


1. UPS power is needed at server room to connect our devices before starting the Internet
Installation.
2. Network Equipments to be Powered ON only in UPS Power.
3. Fiber Cable or Cat6 Cable Routing to be done by customer in case of Underground work or
Civil work or Glass Windows or Glass Flooring or Glass Doors or Closed Wall Ceiling.
4. Terrace Access required to install Mast (Pole or Tripod or Tower).
5. Permission for in-building cabling to be obtained by the customer.
6. Permissions from the IT park authority or any commercial payable to the IT park is
customer’s scope.
7. Permission to be arranged by the customer for terrace and drilling permission to fix the pole
at terrace wall, if required.
8. Permission to be arranged by the customer to access server room to route the cable.
9. Recommended Power Factors to be Maintained in the UPS output. Phase to Neutral: 220V to
230V, Phase to Earth: 220V to 230V, Neutral to Earth: 0V to 2V.
