Lesson Plan in Science IV

This 45-minute lesson plan aims to teach Grade 4 students about life cycles by focusing on the stages in the life cycle of butterflies. Students will be split into groups to draw and label the stages of the butterfly life cycle. They will then present their work and discuss their observations. To evaluate their learning, students will complete sentences and short questions about butterfly life cycles. Finally, students will demonstrate their understanding by creating a song or poem about butterflies. The overall goal is for students to understand that organisms have unique life cycles that include birth, growth, reproduction, and death.
