Using keyboard shortcuts can greatly


increase our productivity, reduce
repetitive strain. For example, highlighting
text with the keyboard and pressing Ctrl +
C is much faster than taking our hand from
the keyboard, highlighting the text using the
mouse, clicking copy from the file menu, and then putting our hand back
in place on the keyboard. Below are our top 33 keyboard shortcuts we
recommend everyone memorize and use.

Windows Shortcut

ξ Minimize all Open Window -Press Window Key + M


ξ Move Open Window -Press Alt + Tab
ξ Open My Computer-Press Window Key + E
ξ Close Active File (Like- Active Excel File, not all Excel File) -Press Ctrl + F4
ξ Close Active Window (like - All Excel File) -Press Alt + F4
ξ Open Run Dialog box - Press Window Key +R
ξ Open Search Window - Press Window Key + F
ξ Activate Start Button - Press Window Key - If we need to go Program menu,
press Hot Key P (other Example - S for Settings Menu)

ξ Lock Computer -Press Alt + Ctrl + Del, Press K


Excel Shortcut Key

• Go to A1 Cell-Press Ctrl+Home
• Select Current Reason-Press Ctrl+* or (Ctrl+A)
• Select Row-Press Shift+SpaceBar
• Select Column-Press Ctrl+SpaceBar
• Insert Column/Row- After Selecting the Row/Column, Press Ctrl+Shift+PlusSign
