Note: There is no need to apply a separate license file for Applications Manager
Plugin. It is included within the OpManager license.

Auto-discovery in Applications Manager Plugin

You can also discover and monitor servers and their corresponding applications
automatically from OpManager during initial startup of APM Plugin. To enable auto-
discovery in APM Plugin, open the AutomaticDiscovery.properties file located under
OpManager\AppManager\working\conf\itomdiscovery and specify the value for the key
PluginDiscoveryType as enable. Also, you can specify the total count of applications that
are to be added for the discovery along with the application discovery order by updating
the values for their respective keys. Upon updating the values, discovery profile will be
created to view added servers and applications.

Note:

Auto-discovery occurs only upon initial startup of APM Plugin for Trial and
Professional Edition users in Windows.

By default, auto-discovery will be enabled in APM Plugin. If users need to disable

or discovery only servers, they can alter the values specified in the
AutomaticDiscovery.properties file.
