DESCRIPTION
Advertising at Amazon is a fast-growing business that spans across desktop, mobile, video and
connected devices. Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP) enables thousands of advertisers to
deliver several billion ad impressions everyday on our owned & operated properties and to a
network of hundreds of thousands of third party publishers. The 3P Supply Quality group has the
charter to deliver high quality ad impressions on the Amazon DSP by providing a wide selection
of invalid traffic, viewability, brand safety and contextual pre-bid targeting and post impression
measurement products from trusted 3P vendors.
We are looking for a SDE2 who can help deliver on the strategic goals for the 3PSQ program.
This is a high visibility role where you have the opportunity to join our mission to build tech
solutions that enable our advertisers deliver high quality impressions everyday. You will work on
wide range of technologies and build low latency realtime services. You will have an influence
on defining product features, and technically lead a growing team of strong engineers in defining
scalable ways to integrate 3P vendor products seamlessly on to the Amazon DSP. You are also
responsible to drive operational excellence, and spearhead the engineering and operational best
practices that enable building a high quality product.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including
object-oriented design
· 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns,
reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· 4+ years of experience developing objected-oriented software, with mastery of one or more
relevant languages (Java, C#, C++, etc.)
· Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to
customers
· Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software
development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management,
build processes, testing, and operations
· Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through launch of the project
· Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams and stakeholders, and
management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
