Health and Lifestyle Rank 2021
We selected the Health and Lifestyle Rank 2021 dataset from Kaggle.com, it had various attributes
like City, Rank, Sunshine hours (City), Cost of a bottle of water (City), Obesity levels (Country
(Country), Life
expectancy(years) (Country), Pollution (Index score) (City), Annual avg. hours worked, Happiness
levels (Country), Outdoor activities (City),Number of take out places(City) and Cost of a monthly
gym membership(City),, these attributes put together helped us find if there was any correlation
between them or if they affected each other in aany way.
Analysis:These
These days pollution is on a peak, be it air pollution , water pollution or even soil
pollution for that matter.Due the alarming level of pollution there
thereis an adverse effecton
human health.Since,
.Since, Asia is one of the continents whith high polution levels, we decided to
compare the pollution level and life expectancy ofcities in Asia.Through this analysis we
came to a conclusion that pollution levels and life expec
expectancy are inversely propotional i.e
Increase in pollution
lution level leads to decrease in life expectancy rate.
2.Correlation between Sunshine hours and outdoor activities of Barcelona, Madrid, and
Milan
Analysis: For this comparison we decided to select the top 5 ranking cities and make a
correlation between annual average hours worked and outdoor activities. Here we wanted to
see the work-life
life balance of these cities and we derived a conclusion that these cities have a
well-balanced work-life
life culture and are rightly placed at top 5 ranking.
4.Correlation between Average No. of Take out and Obesity Levels of bottom 10 Cities
Analysis: Here we took into consideration the average number of take-out out places and obesity
levels as we often associate take
take-out places with being unhealthy and this can be a
contribution to obesity level. It was observed that there is a directly proportional relation
between the number of take-outout places and the obesity levels i.e., a greater number of take-
take
out places leads to increase in obesity levels of the bottom 10 cities.
