This document outlines the course outcomes and content for an Electrical Machines - II course. The course covers 5 units: (1) synchronous generators, (2) synchronous motors, (3) three phase induction motors, (4) starting and speed control of three phase induction motors, and (5) single phase motors and special motors. The course aims to enable students to outline different types of alternators and their performance, identify synchronous motor performance under different loads, reproduce induction motor construction and working principle, and summarize induction motor speed control techniques. References and textbooks are also listed.
