Jasper Report Install

Document for Jasper Install and Configure the Jasper Report in APEX

Step 1:
Find the Install file in the following SVN Location
SVN\REPORT\RESOURCE\JASPER\Software\jasperreports-server-cp-6.3.0-windows-x64-
installer.exe (installer)

Step 2:
Double Click on the file will get install in the specified location.

Click Finish

Step 8
Will open the login page and the credentials is jasperadmin and jasperadmin and press login
button

Step 9:

Goto Manage menu and server settings -> import the file from the existing Jasper Server.

Step 10.

Finished

Importing Steps
Import the existing report server with all the report,
Goto Manage menu and server Settings, Then File export the full jasper server
configuration with options.

Then the file has to be use when you import in a new jasper server Report.
When Database Connection establishment:
Step 1:
Select the JDBC DataSource
Step 2:
JDBC Driver – Oracle
Step 3:
Host : coretst2.pasi.gov.om
Step 4:
Port : 1521
Step 5:
Service : cat
Step 6:
URL : jdbc:oracle:thin:@coretst2.pasi.gov.om:1521:cat
Step 7:
UserName and Password then, Select the ojdbc6.jar as a server Object driver from the
local Machine, Can copy this from the SVN repository.

Step 8:
Finally : Test Connect, will ensure the connection is working fine.

Export and Import the Reports


1. Report Export

2. Folder Export
Name the folder with report name with extension of compressed format.

Import
After Import, need to be change the database Source from cat/cad/caq to CAP, which is already
available in the list of Data source repository.
