BIZBOX VERSUS COMLOGIC HIMS

Price
Bizbox has a big advantage in terms of price and payment mode over comlogic.

Statement of work
Bizbox Laboratory information system (LIS) and radiology information system (RIS) is not included in the contract. Comlogic- Laboratory information system (LIS) and radiology information system (RIS) is included free in their presentation but not included in their contract. (must be included in their contract)

Warranty
Software warranty Bizbox - 5 yrs warranty on software error or bugs, remote connection. -the client will send abnormal incident report (AIR) form via email or fax. - if cannot be solved via remote service, the client will shoulder all the expense of the vendor staff (meal, transportation, board and lodging) and additional service charge may apply if the problem was not due to error in the software system (user error or user data).(Additional expenditure) - HR, Payroll and Timekeeping software, the vendor will provide online support only. Onsite support is chargeable regardless of the concern or request; the client will also shoulder the expense of the vendor staff. (Additional expenditure) Comlogic 5 yrs also with remote connection. -has 24/7 online supports in which there is a technical support officer that will entertain clients concern. (Faster support service) -onsite software support is 5 years; the client will not shoulder the expense of the vendor staff, up to the warranty expires. Response time is within 24 hrs.(Less expense) - technical support warranty is 1 year; the client will not shoulder the expense of the vendor staff, up to the warranty expires. Response time is within 24 hrs. (Less expense)

Require additional explanation - 8.4.1.7 Technical support for client inquiries, office visits after the warranty period shall be provided by the vendor without a cost.

Customization, add-ons and modification


Bizbox additional charges for any customization, free customization is not clear and not included in the contract. They say add-ons and modifications on DOH and Philhealth mandatory report is free of charge forever in their presentation but not included in the contract. Laboratory forms can be modified without any additional fee, but it is not clear if other forms in different department can also modified on their own. (but this feature is not included or clear in the contract)

Comlogic- add-ons and modifications on DOH and Philhealth mandatory report is free of charge for 1 year. (we should try to negotiate if they could give unlimited free modification like what bizbox offered) All HIMS existing reports that require upgrading will be billed separately.(But in their presentation when I asked if I could modify the laboratory result form they said I can do that, so I presume that other forms or report can be modify by other department without any additional cost.

Updates/Upgrades
Bizbox- 5 yrs free software updates but it is not clear if the client will shoulder the expense of the vendor staff. Comlogic 5yrs free software updates but limited only to the module/packaged purchased; the client will shoulder the expense of the vendor staff.

Money Back Guarantee


Comlogic offers money back guarantee on the other hand bizboxdo not have such offer. NOTE: Can we ask the vendor to include in how much is the cost of extended maintenance agreement so that we can evaluate its advantage compare to per technical support cost. Laboratory information system (LIS) and radiology information system (RIS) must be included in their contract, because they include it for free in their presentation. The Laboratory dept and Radiology dept will be greatly benefited on this system as it will reduces transcription errors, faster reading and releasing of result in radiology dept as it will send and save the image of ct scan,x-ray, ultrasound etc to the radiologist and other doctor concern.
