INTRODUCTION
On-the-job training or OJT, is a component of a college curriculum that tries to teach and

orient students about their future careers. This is one technique for giving every student the

opportunity to apply the theories and abilities they have learnt in school. It also allows students

to gain relevant information and skills by performing in a real-world setting. An OJT program

allows students to experience realistic employment by using real equipment, facilities, and

documentation.

The workplace becomes a growth environment for a trainee to study and obtain more

information about his chosen industry, as well as practice what he has learned in school. Because

the students will be dealing with real-world situations during their training, they must be serious

and avoid making mistakes. This will act as a training ground for the students' future careers.

Students should not take their internship opportunities for granted. They must recognize the

significance of taking this subject and ensuring a successful performance on it.

As a result of the lot of competition for jobs nowadays, and firms look for excellent

credentials when employing new staff. Students can also enhance themselves. They may also get

remarkable experiences that they may use and carry forward in their future employment. The

learning.

Food and Beverage Department (Dining Area)– this is the area where I was assigned to

conduct my first day On-the-Job Training. On my first day of training, I was very excited and

somewhat nervous because of the new environment and the new people surrounding me. I

didn’t have any idea of what kind of people they are and it made me adjust myself with their

personalities and attitudes.
