Job profile in IBM :-
We are supporting a global retail customer on a 24*5 basis. The account
includes more than 3000 servers with multiple operating systems. Different
operating systems include Suse Linux & SCO Unix.
The operating system is deployed in HP & IBM hardwares. Suse Linux is
installed in HP Proiant ML 310 & 350 Servers. SCO Unix is installed in IBM
Netfinity 5600 servers. Our job includes troubleshooting the different
types of OS/hardware issues, and Installing and rebuilding and restoring
the OS. Package management. and Instal and configuring ITM Agents on Linux
servers. And trouble shooting the alerts generated from it. And following
up with vendor, documenting the solutions for frequently occurring issues.
My last working day at IBM as contractor was on June 29th 2019.
From Jan’ 2010 to Dec’ 2013 with Indian Institute of Hardware Technology
as, Red-Hat Enterprise Linux 6 System Administrator.
• The key deliverable s the profile entails:
We were providing support for Indian Institute of Hardware Technology Pvt
Ltd Project.
We were supporting the internal applications which was installed and
configured on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 on a 24*5 basis. The project had
only HP Proliant DL360 G5 Server. Our job is to make the systems available
for end user with minimal downtime.
