Objective
The purpose of this policy is to lay down the guidelines and procedures that will govern the option of
procurement of IT laptops by the employees who are on exit mode.

Scope
This policy will be applicable to all full time On-rolls employees of Gamma Gaana Ltd.

Pre-Requisites

● Laptops procured by Gaana.


● Allocated Laptop must be in use for more than 1 year by the respective employee.
● The employee should be allocated only One Laptop.
● Age of laptop equal to or more than 4/5 years can be purchased by respective employees for
their personal use as per below table under Eligibility Criteria Table.

Eligibility Criteria

Employees at exit mode will have the option to purchase IT Asset(s) which are assigned to them, based
on age of the asset as per the table below.

Note: Prevailing GST charges will be applicable.

Process

● Employees will have the option to purchase the allocated laptop if it meets the eligibility criteria
mentioned in the above table.
● Employee to raise a request on “Toby” to initiate the purchase request & provide the consent on
a Google form to deduct the amount from the subsequent month payroll.
● Employee to handover the machine to IT.
● IT will share the employee details, consent form and amount to be deducted from salary over an
email to HR & Finance.
● Finance to generate the Sales Invoice in the name of the employee with intimation to HR and IT.
● IT to handover the old laptop for personal use to the employee after formatting the system and
removing all IT software and applications.
● Finance to remove the asset from Fixed Register (FAR) basis the Sales invoice.
● TAT for the request closure is 01 month from LWD to complete the above formalities.
● IT is not responsible for any hardware or software support.
