    Analysis and Design of an Electronic Card for an Electric Vehicle
    Charging Station

    The project is based on the technology of recharging By sockets for electric


    vehicles, in this project I studied the function of the J1772 Plug,
    The J1772 give 3 level socket from Pilot Pin signals in forme PWM advance
    control, each level has a designation:

    1-Level 1 (NOT connected): output voltage of Pilot Pin 12 v (red led)


    2-Level 2 (ready to charge): output voltage of Pilot Pin 9 v (yellow led)
    3-Level 3 ( charging ) : output voltage of Pilot Pin 9 v6 v (Led vert )

    For the design of the card I used several compasses but for the most important
    components:
    • Optocoupler 4N35: for isolation of the processing unit (3v) and the card (12 v)
    • LM358 Dual Operational Amplifier (Opamp): for the comparison of the output
    voltage of the Pilot Pin with fixes voltage set by a potentiometer

    Note 1: I do not have a J1772 plug, I replaced it with a petentiometer


    Note 2: I have not tested the card on a 22kw electric vehicle
