SECTION 5.1.11: DESCRIPTION OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE CONTROL

MAIN PLATE

REGULATING CIRCUIT OF TENSION

A 15v-alternating signal is applied to connector jp5. This signal is rectified with the bridge
of d10 diode and it is filtered through c21, c22 in order to have a continuous tension and it is
applied to the entrance of the u5 tension regulator tension of regulated output 13.4v. Diode
protects the regulated source of the battery. When uc applies a logic “1” to the base of q1,
this one leads and lets the uc read the a/d converter in order to get a reading of the battery
charge.
When the start key connected to jp7 connector, is pressed, this one begins the process of
initializing and applies a logic “1” to q2 base, it leads and activates “rele k1” to maintain the
machine with power even when the push button is released.
If a logic “0” is applied to q2 base, it will disconnect the machine.
U9 indicates uc that there is net tension.
U6 and u7 regulators fix tension to feed the different components.

ENGINE POWER PHASE -CLAMPER- BUZZER

When uc applies a logic “1” to q6 base polarized with r36 resistances, this one leads to
activate the ls1 buzzer and a sound is heard.

When uc applies a logic “1” to q5 lock polarized with r35 resistance, this one leads to
activate the clamper.

When uc applies a logic “1” to q4 lock polarized with r34 resistance, this one leads to fix the

SECTION 6.1: DETAILED FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION OF THE ANALOG

AMPLIFIER PHASE

Before explaining the machine gauging in detail we will describe the functioning of the
different parts of the device, which is conditioner of the analog signal delivered by charge
cell.

In the micro-controller of the system there is a 10 bits A/D converter incorporated, which
is used to digit, read and then process the value the signal voltage value coming from the
charge cell after being correctly amplified.

Such amplifier is in charge of amplifying the signal that is delivered by the charge cell,
taking it to an appropriate value and also here is made the process of electronic gauging,
which is necessary to indicate the weight of the “empty sacks”, that are filled with the
fluid collected.

SECTION 9.1.3: CHARGE CELL

The charge cell or “Extension-metric” hub brake has the characteristic of maintaining in
its output, a potential difference which is proportional to the applied charge, 2m, V/V
with 3 Kg. The maximum admissible charge is 3 Kg.

SECTION 9.1.4: BASE FOR THE INSTALLATION

The thick base of aluminum, is used as a support for the charge cell, maintaining it firm,
avoiding bad measurements.

SECTION 9.1.5: ENGINE SUPPORT

It means that it fastens the engine to the base fixed with the charge cell.

SECTION 9.1.6: CONNECTING ROD

The connecting rod gives the oscillating movement to the arm that supports the tray.

SECTION 9.1.7: SET OF PROTECTION

It is composed of a support fixed to the base fastening a sheet of aluminum with a center
hole, which is bigger than the shaft avoiding, in this way, excessive weights or stretching.

SECTION 9.1.8: ARM TO SUPPORT THE TRAY

Both arms make a crutch to support the agitation tray.

38
MACHINES FOR LABORATORIES AND Agitator of extraction with scale
BLOOD BANKS AE-500A

SECTION 9.1.9: ENGINE: DC

The 12V engine has a reducing speed box in its extreme. The engine receives either 5 or
6 V of energy to have the necessary oscillations of the agitation tray.

SECTION 9.1.10: GUIDE OF TRAYS

The guide, together with the opt-connector, indicates the micro-controller that the tray is
parallel to the base.

SECTION 9.1.11: MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENTS.

B and C screws are adjusted maintaining the arm that supports the tray, forming a 90
degrees angle regarding the aluminum base when the connecting rod is in its average
point.
Besides, when such screws are adjusted, it is necessary to verify that the engine does not
have sudden movements when it has energy.

The space (point A) allows the hub brake to diminish when a charge is applied.
