A 15v-alternating signal is applied to connector jp5. This signal is rectified with the bridge
of d10 diode and it is filtered through c21, c22 in order to have a continuous tension and it is
applied to the entrance of the u5 tension regulator tension of regulated output 13.4v. Diode
protects the regulated source of the battery. When uc applies a logic “1” to the base of q1,
this one leads and lets the uc read the a/d converter in order to get a reading of the battery
charge.
When the start key connected to jp7 connector, is pressed, this one begins the process of
initializing and applies a logic “1” to q2 base, it leads and activates “rele k1” to maintain the
machine with power even when the push button is released.
If a logic “0” is applied to q2 base, it will disconnect the machine.
U9 indicates uc that there is net tension.
U6 and u7 regulators fix tension to feed the different components.
When uc applies a logic “1” to q6 base polarized with r36 resistances, this one leads to
activate the ls1 buzzer and a sound is heard.
When uc applies a logic “1” to q5 lock polarized with r35 resistance, this one leads to
activate the clamper.
When uc applies a logic “1” to q4 lock polarized with r34 resistance, this one leads to fix the
engine speed.

An opt connection consists of a polarized light emitting diode with r37 and leads to
phototransistor when light influences its base indicating uc the position of the tray.
U10 eprom memory which stores blood donors’ data is a memory of 8k x 8 bits that
communicates with uc with bus i 2c.
U4 clock gives date, current time, bt1 battery maintains the clock with energy even when
there is no feeding, and y2 crystal synchronizes the seconds.
U8 converter notices the level of the battery tension with r39 resistance divider

The max 232 integrated circuit changes the ttl levels to the ones to the rs-232 standard
when a transmission is made, and changes the rs-232 levels to ttl when a reception is
available.
U12 consists of four bi-direction keys. U12a key permits the transmission of data coming
from the bar code scanner. U12 key permits the transmission coming from the pc. U12b
permits the reception of data transmission coming from the bar code scanner. U12 key
permits the reception of data coming from the pc.
U12a and u12b keys of the transmission and reception of data from the bar code scanner
are enabled by means of uc. U12c and u12d keys of the data transmission and reception
from the pc are enabled by means of uc.
The bi-direction keys data transmission is received by uc (rx). The bi-direction keys data
reception is transmitted by uc (tx)

MACHINES FOR LABORATORIES AND Agitator of extraction with scale
BLOOD BANKS AE-500A
Before explaining the machine gauging in detail we will describe the functioning of the
different parts of the device, which is conditioner of the analog signal delivered by charge
cell.
In the micro-controller of the system there is a 10 bits A/D converter incorporated, which
is used to digit, read and then process the value the signal voltage value coming from the
charge cell after being correctly amplified.
Such amplifier is in charge of amplifying the signal that is delivered by the charge cell,
taking it to an appropriate value and also here is made the process of electronic gauging,
which is necessary to indicate the weight of the “empty sacks”, that are filled with the
fluid collected.
1. Remove the machine tray unscrewing the screws that fasten it.
2. Remove the 6 screws that fasten the machine motor frame
3. Lift the motor frame and put it at one side (As it is shown in the picture)
P1
4. Turn on the machine with the START key and with a screwdriver, fasten P1 until
getting the desired contrast.

1. With the machine closed, having adjusted the previous steps and with empty tray.
2. Turn on the machine with the START key, go to Function: “0-TECHNICAL

3. Enter the password approved by the Company in this case is 21.
4. Go to function 1-GAUGING
5. Adjust P2 that is located in the rear part (Remove the covering hairpiece of
gauging) as it is shown in the picture until it appears zero = 0 (-1) on the screen.

1. Once the empty tray has been adjusted, continuing the previous process.
2. Put on the tray a pattern weight, of 500 gr, for example
3. Adjust P3 that is located in the rear part until it appears 500 gr on the screen (in
this case), as it is shown in the picture.

Bar Code Scanner, formed to 9600 baudios, 8 data bit, 1 stop bit and without parity.
Connected to the AE500A Plug DB9 Connector
1. Connect the bar code scanner to AE500A and have a set of different codes handy
(2,3,4,5 are enough) to be able to fulfill the trial
2. Connect the AE500A to the PC through the “Cable modem null” as it was previously
described.
3. Perform the terminal software you have in the PC; It should be formed as it was
previously described
4. Set option: “DATA BASE – ENABLED”
5. Perform in AE500A the option: “CONNECTION RS-232”. Automatically send to
series port the stream: “AE500A0000” + “Enter”. Where 0000 is the series number in
the absence of the right one.
6. Enter the machine new series number with the control: “CXXXX*”, where XXXX
belongs to the 4 digits of such series number.
7. Verify it has been correctly recorded with “A*” control.
8. Escape from option “CONNECTION-232”, using “X*” control from the PC.
9. Fulfill a complete extraction process, entering when you finish it, an identification
code and permit the recording of it in memory.
10.Enter option: “CONNECTION RS-232” again.

11.Perform “G*” control from terminal. With it, 10 equal registers to the last fulfilled
process, will be recorded in EEPROM memory. The copies from this one, are
obtained from “RAM” memory; for this reason it should be understood that to fulfill
this trial in a satisfactory way, the machine can not be turned off between step 9 and

The eccentric of connecting rod is joined to the shaft of the dc engine with a fixing screw,
when the engine receives energy, it turns (its direction does not mind), sliding the
connecting rod, and causing the oscillating of the arms than support the tray.

The charge cell or “Extension-metric” hub brake has the characteristic of maintaining in
its output, a potential difference which is proportional to the applied charge, 2m, V/V
with 3 Kg. The maximum admissible charge is 3 Kg.
The thick base of aluminum, is used as a support for the charge cell, maintaining it firm,
avoiding bad measurements.
It means that it fastens the engine to the base fixed with the charge cell.
The connecting rod gives the oscillating movement to the arm that supports the tray.
It is composed of a support fixed to the base fastening a sheet of aluminum with a center
hole, which is bigger than the shaft avoiding, in this way, excessive weights or stretching.

The 12V engine has a reducing speed box in its extreme. The engine receives either 5 or
6 V of energy to have the necessary oscillations of the agitation tray.
The guide, together with the opt-connector, indicates the micro-controller that the tray is
parallel to the base.
B and C screws are adjusted maintaining the arm that supports the tray, forming a 90
degrees angle regarding the aluminum base when the connecting rod is in its average
point.
Besides, when such screws are adjusted, it is necessary to verify that the engine does not
have sudden movements when it has energy.
The space (point A) allows the hub brake to diminish when a charge is applied.
