Introduction

ASTI Feynman Challenge is an online challenge where the students should work as a
team, minimum 2 to maximum of 5 person per team. The team is to invent something
with a scientific principle that they have learn in school.

The invention should be with day to day objects they would find at home.

The team must then video tape their explanation of the scientific concept with the
invention they had developed. The invention is basically a teaching tool.

Each video that the team going to upload should be

not more than 5 minutes long.
The video can be recorded using their mobile phones. We are not looking for a
‘Hollywood’ type production, but it is important that the voices are clear and the quality
of the images are discernible.

Introduction
ASTI Feynman Challenge is an online challenges where the students should work as a

team is to invent something with a scientific principle that they have learn in school.

Parents role in this challenges :

We are hoping that a parent also becomes one of the team member of the team that is
participating in AFC. We are not making the parent involvement compulsory since we
are also hoping for participants from orphanages and refugees communities. Here are
some of the key responsibility of the parent whether they are or not the member of the
team – they are:

▪ To play a role in the research and explanation of the AFC modules to help their
children understand the research and AFC modules better.

▪ Helping their child to use social media platform and guide their children develop
their creative ideas to produce their invention and teach their lesson.

▪ To prepare and make available the technology support for their child such as
camera, computer etc, as well as materials to produce their invention and lesson.
