educational journey and the commencement of another more uncertain and more
difficult part of one’s quest for a better life and future. Truly, today signifies the
culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge:
Knowledge that will enable a person to embrace opportunities and take on challenges
with clear vision and purpose.
2: Indeed, another remarkable school year has passed. A year defined by our stories of
adversities, resilience, and success. Pandemic, distance learning, Odette-name it, we
braved it. To say that we have done well is an understatement. We, teachers and
learners alike, have conquered the tempest and we emerged victorious. Despite the
adversities, we have manifested our resilience and today, we celebrate our success.
1&2: This is the 5th Graduation Exercises of Guinacot National High School with the
theme “K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Faces of
Adversity”
1: Leading the processional this morning, we welcome the candidates for graduation
honours and deserving students together with their proud parents/guardians, faculty and
Staff, PTA Officials, keynote speaker, and the colours.
2: Approaching our stage are the graduates with academic excellence award together
with their proud parents.
2: Let us give a glad hand to the pillars of this institution, the Guinacot NHS faculty and
staff with our school principal together with the honoured guests.
1: Graduation exercises have truly been noteworthy for everyone here. It is a time of
completion, of finishing, of an ending; however, it is also a time of celebration of
achievement and most importantly a beginning to a new horizon in your life.
2: To begin this momentous occasion, everyone is requested to stand for the singing of
National Anthem, Awit sa Bohol and Guindulman Hymn to be conducted by Jesraelita
Olaer, with honors from Grade 12-STEM, Mary Dominica Amparado with honors from
HUMSS strand and Phea Jane Peliño, with honors from ICT strand.
1: Please remain standing for the invocation prayer by the candidates for graduation.

1: According to Aristotle, the roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet. That’s
why right now calls for a great celebration of the fruit of your success.

1&2: Greetings of success to one and all!
1: Indeed, the rhythms of our school are being disrupted by a global pandemic. Truly,
you were challenged in the shift of new normal. on this day, moving forward, we would
like to congratulate all our graduates of batch 2022. In making this far in the face of
pandemic.
2: After several months, turn to years of waiting, this day has finally come. Today is your
day, celebrate it, own it and remember that each graduation day is not the end but
rather it is a new beginning to a new horizon in your individual life.
1: To formally begin, Shen Trisha Galan, with high honors, HUMSS strand, will now
deliver her words of welcome. A round of applause please.
2: And now the most significant moment in every graduation ceremony has come. May I
call on, Mr. Alex Besagas, School Principal of Guinacot NHS for the presentation of
candidates for graduation. This is to be followed by the confirmation of the graduates by
our Education Public Supervisor in MAPEH and ALS, Dr. Evelyn Codilla.
1: At this juncture, let us be emboldened with the graduation message of Dr. Evelyn
Codilla, EPS-MAPEH & ALS. A round of applause.
2: After six years of hard work and dedication, graduates, it is about time to reward your
commitment towards education. Reap the fruits of your labor. You will receive your
diploma as a symbol of your success. May I request our EPS in MAPEH & ALS, Dr.
Evelyn Codilla, to be assisted by our school principal, sir Alex Besagas, with our PSDS,
Ma’am Cleofe Bual for the distribution of diplomas.
1: It has been said that the quality of person’s life is in direct proportion to his/her
commitment to his/her excellence, which results to the sweetest fruit of their success.
Ladies and Gentlemen, the awarding of medals to the academic excellence awardees
and giving of special awards. May I request again our EPS in MAPEH & ALS, Dr.
Evelyn Codilla, to be assisted by our school principal, sir Alex Besagas, with our PSDS,
Ma’am Cleofe Bual for the distribution of diplomas.
2: Looking closely to the significance of this momentous affair, it tells us that today, is
not just a day where we rejoice for the triumph that graduating students have but most
importantly a day of thanksgiving, a time of giving tribute to the people behind every
success and learnings—the parents and guardians.
1: This time let us hear a testimony from Edsin Sajulga, with honors, STEM strand. A
round of applause.
1: Giving the rightful appreciation, wilful tribute, best honor and special gratitude to
them. The parents, we all know have been an instrument in everyone’s academic
development.

1: According to Malala Yousafzai; Let us make our future now, and let us make our
dreams tomorrow’s reality. At this juncture, may I request Mr. Mark Gill Acierto, with
high honors, STEM strand for the Pledge of loyalty.
2: There are bound to be a lot of tears to remember the end of high school. Right? At
this moment may I call on Ms. Ma. Teresa Salamanca, with high honors for her words of
gratitude.
1: The closing has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities await for
our graduates that will further test their mettles as improving individuals. Ladies and
gentlemen, let us welcome the graduates for their graduation song entitled “All My Life”
and “Reach”
2: our dear graduates, as you continue your journey, may you look back to this stage in
your life with fondness and pride. May god fill your hearts with love because that love
will take you further in life.
