Romeo and Juliet Act II Mini Project

1. What 2 key points does the second prologue highlight?
Well, two importants key points about this prologue are. At the first part of this
story he is attracted to Rosalinne, but after the Capulets party, he falls in love
with Juliet.

2. How do the last 2 lines of the prologue create tension?

The part with most tension in this prologue, is when Romeo wants to declare
marriage to Juliet, and try to break the problem with both families.

3. What could be the metaphorical significance of Romeo jumping over the orchard

wall?

It could mean something with near relationship with de love, it means

something as try to break the tension between Juloiet and Romeo, and be

something more than friends, or break the barrier and declare to Juliet.

4. Why do you think Shakespeare chose to set this scene at night?

I supposed, because anyone will watch them and it will stay as a secret.

Try to make a potion which makes Juliet fall in a deep dream, and the

Friar Lawrence acts as paternal figure for Romeo, because he gives advice to him and
he takes care of Romeo, thanks to that they made a near relationship.

8. Why does the Friar choose to help Romeo?

Because he is something like a “second father” of Romeo, soo he try to help him, and
he knows about Romeo's relationship and Juliet's situation.

9. How does the Friar display conflicting characteristics?

He displays conflicting characteristics, because just to see Romeo Happy without


thinking about the possible consequences and problems implies making a potion which
will make Juliet fall in a deep dream.

He discovers the challenge of conflict sent by Tybalt for Romeo.


11. What does Romeo tell the Nurse about the secret wedding?

He tells the nurse that they can go to the church, to let him marry Juliet.

capulets, but be more relaxed and flexible with Juliet's relationship.

The marriage of Romeo and Juleit will bring problems, and as he said it will

comply.

There is love, the senses who feel Romeo and Juliet, but the violence between

both families, and the challenges of Tybalt, which will make a deep plot.
