The Fork-It Reservation System is designed to: 1) Automate the manual restaurant table booking system and store customer data for longer periods of time in a secure and accessible database. 2) Make it easier for customers to book free tables at restaurants without having to visit in person, saving time and effort. 3) Simplify the process of managing table scheduling and restaurant data for both customers and administrators. The system uses a relational database managed by MySQL to store and retrieve customer and restaurant information securely. It also features a user-friendly graphical interface built with HTML, CSS, JS, and React to allow easy data access and reservations.

Abstract:
Fork-goal is to use computerized equipment, full-fledged computer software,
and a relational database management system (RDBMS) to automate the
existing manual system, meeting their needs so that they can book their
favourite table at their favourite restaurant while also storing their valuable
data/information for a longer period of time with easy access and manipulation.
This strategy may allow us to book free tables at restaurants in a secure,
reliable, and timely manner. It will make scheduling tables and managing
restaurant data easier for customers.

Introduction:
The Fork-It Reservation System is a database that stores and retrieves
information as well as conducts transactions linked to the rental or other
activities. This technology is designed to make it easy to store data to a database
and keep it secure. This system is also designed to make it easier for the
administrator to access information and run the business smoothly. To do a
transaction with a customer in a timely and efficient manner. The administrator
and client transaction flow will include the Fork-It Reservation System. This
method works by utilizing the Fork-It mechanism to process secure
reservations. The information is subsequently sent to a backend system where
the reservation can be managed by the Fork-It administrator.
Motivation:
People use several applications for restaurant ordering, ride booking, hotel
booking, and much of their daily job in the current circumstances. So why not
create an app for them that will allow them to reserve their favourite seat in
their preferred restaurant without having to get there, saving them time, energy,
and money. Furthermore, the inspiration stems from the fact that there are few
existing applications of this type.

Problem Statement:
In today's world, time and energy are more valuable than anything else. Rather
than wasting time and energy on reserving seats by visiting the specific site
ahead of time, we can develop an app that would help customers save their
precious time. As a result, our main issue statement is to develop a system that
can be used to reserve tables for customers at a restaurant. Making it user-
friendly so that customers can make reservations fast is a huge challenge. Our
main goal will be to construct a restaurant seat reservation application utilizing
MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, NodeJs, Express, Github and React JS.

Problem Objectives:
This system manages the rental and other activities by storing and retrieving
data and conducting transactions.
• This system is designed to make it easy to save information to a database and
to keep it secure.
• In order to run smoothly, you need to be able to access the details.
• To do a transaction with a customer in a timely and efficient manner.
Proposed Model:

In this model we fetch data from user and then send it to our GUI from where
the backend process will use the data and according to the need send and fetch
data from the database which is created using MySQL through firewall and
similarly we can send the data demanded from user through GUI.
Phases of the Project need to require for completion of project:
 Using MySQL, create a relational database that will be used for user
information and restaurant information.
 Making a user-friendly interface with HTML, CSS, JS, and React
 Using the GUI, retrieve and alter data from the database.
