ACTIVITY
Relative to the DepEd Memorandum 095, s. 2018 –
“Sustaining the Implementation of the Gulayan sa Paaralan
Program in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools
Nationwide” the Burauen Comprehensive National High
School initiated a clean-up drive together with the parents
of the 4Ps recipients held last September 24,2021 at the
Gulayan sa Paaralan beside the BCNHS-Social Hall.
RATIONALE
This Clean-up Drive is designed to bring together the
parents to work hand-in-hand in sustaining and
implementing the Gulayan sa Paaralan Program of the
DepEd. This program will not only help the school but also
the community in giving them nutrition that will help them
somehow survive in this pandemic.
OBJECTIVES The purpose of this activity is to engage the parents
especially the 4Ps recipients to participate and support the
school’s activities like the clean-up drive or “pintakasi”.
This is likewise helps sustain the implementation of the

“Gulayan sa Paaralan” program of the school.
Prior to this event, our Secondary School Principal IV, Mrs.
Eleanor E. Cagara, held a faculty meeting at the BCNHS-
Social Hall informing all teachers especially the advisers to
advise their parents especially those 4Ps Recipient to help
in sustaining the Gulayan sa Paaralan. The schedule for
the clean-up drive per grade level was also given, where
Grade 11 was schedule on September 24, 2021 (Friday)
morning.
At around 8:00am parents started to come to school and
ACTUAL RESULT
proceeds to the Gulayan sa Paaralan beside the BCNHS-
Social Hall together with the advisers. Each advisers
provided attendance sheets. 46 parents are present in this
activity which ends at around 12:00 noon.
Indeed, the clean-up drive was a successful one, with the
help of the encouragement of the advisers and cooperations
of the parents. We are able to clean the area which will be
used to sustain the implementation of the Gulayan sa
Paaralan Program of the DepEd.
PROBLEMS The only problem that was encountered during this activity
ENCOUNTERED was the number of attendees. Due to different reasons
some of the parents that are invited by the Grade 11
advisers were not able to attend the said activity.
Nevertheless, the activity was still successful thanks to the
advisers who encouraged their parents to attend this
activity and most especially to the parents who work hard
in supporting this program and making this clean-up drive

Through this activity, the DepEd Memorandum 095, s.
2018 was made possible with the help of the advisers and
LESSON LEARNED especially of the parents. It is a proof that together we will
make work easier and indeed the Grade 11 part was
cleaned before lunch.
